What are the odds. I just started looking for a fly screen for my 23 grom yesterday and find this video that was uploaded less than a week ago. Only place I could find a screen myself was this exact same one, but from a UK website for double the price. Thanks for the video!
I kinda like the screen. It's a bit weirder for me since I have the silver and green 2023 grom so I'm trying to keep a relatively cohesive color scheme going (might sticker bomb idk). More than likely I'll be following in your footsteps with most of the mods. Actually sat on a Svartpilen and Vitpilen yesterday and realized how much I like having my back so now I'll probably be looking for taller handlebars and bar end mirrors that go in front of my hands rather than on the sides. Much mahalos!
Some days I like it, some days I don't haha. I've heard the XR50 bend bars are a good bit higher. Down the line I'll probably put some risers on this one, too, I wouldn't mind them being higher at all. What is stopping me is I don't know how much higher and wider you can go before you start needing longer cables. A few places sell them, so down the line definitely doable, jsut haven't gotten there yet.
I looked at Tyga for this a while ago and they wanted some ridiculous amount for shipping, like almost as much (or more than) for the part. Did you have a difference experience?
I bought the screen, a clutch kit, and some other small parts. The shipping still was $30ish but I was better able to stomach it by ordering more parts to make it feel more worth it 😂

@@SpencerDesmarais I actually just got a call from my local dealership, it’s here & I’m picking it up tomorrow. By the way, did you have a db killer with your high mount zoom exhaust? I opened the box today and it was just the exhaust can and linkage pipes. No db killer.
@@marionflores5886 Hell yeah, congrats on the new bike day tomorrow! For my Zoom Exhaust, I got the little thin disc-type db killer that goes in between the down pipe and the exhaust can included with it. It came stuck in the pipe, I believe. I didn't like how restrictive that was going to end up being and also just didn't like the sound it made. I ended up buying a drag specialties universal fiberglass wrapped drop in baffle, removing the fiberglass, and drilling a few more holes in it. I don't show it, but I talk about it at about the 4:45 mark in this video th-cam.com/video/ga5KL0lV4CQ/w-d-xo.html with some links in the description of that one!
