YES, I FOUND IT. Congrats on having your song in the "THREE THOUSAND YEARS OF LONGING" trailer, this song ROCKS and I had to track it down after hearing it.
@@vampirelfe69 I was in my early 20s when I heard this for the first time. Now I'm in my mid 30s 😞 I hope you caught them live sometime. They sound liked they'd be a blast live
I hope someone from the band reads this one day. This song saved the quality of my life. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis several months ago. My quality of life took such a nose dive. Waking up was a nightmare. I have such stiffness it's almost body lock. The exercises they give are horrible. And hard to get thru with the pain. And then one morning I discovered this song. It's rhythm and beat and slow glides are so perfect to slowly work thru each joint. I really can't express how this song has made easy for me to get out of bed and to feel human again quicker than any physical therapy I've been offered. Thank you so much.
Sorry to hear about your pain, hope you're doing okay. Try listening to Massive Attack's album Mezzanine, it might not have the same effect but the songs are similar.
It doesn't sound like anything, so I think it will always sound hyper modern. maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. But this just ends up in my head every once in a while.
I knew this song would one day get used in a movie trailer. Although in my head it would be a song that someone walks to on the sidewalk as chaos ensues around them.
A music video is a visual put to the music. It sells the said music. I'm not saying music videos don't help sales, I'm saying people for the most part won't let the content of the video determine whether or not they will buy it because they will be listening to it later without the video.
I think I first heard this years ago in a promo for Halt and Catch Fire. I listened to it, over and over and over, sometime around 2015? Then forgot all about it, until the trailer for Three Thousand Years of Longing. 👍
Mission....... Complete...... This Song has been Officially added to my LifeLong List of Sounds and Songs that I will use to dive deep into creativity and Soul. Perfect
I heard this song years ago somewhere and it stuck in my head never knowing the name. Thanks for the movie trailer using this song I was able to find it!
I remember few years back listening to this song and the band all the time and then like bang I forgot about it... but thanks to 3000 years of longing here I am again
I love it when the last big song of a band/artist in a small space gets a resurgence years later and peaks the interest of old and new fans. The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows would deem this Proud Father watching Suuns go off to College.
So Im now approaching 55, think I really should call it a day, resigned to a middle aged grave, and suddenly I hear this and figure Ive got another 12 years yet - twats I support you!
It might take a little time before people start to trickle in. OR doesn't have the same impact of, say, Peacemaker and the music it featured. But their use of SUUNS upped my admiration for music supervisor Gabe Hilfer.
OMG i just went to their show at montreal Jazz Festival. just got there randomly, didnt knew the band at all. I was instantly attracted like a magnet to the stage!! the sound was going through me and it was insanrly joyful. kinda magic tbh! im blown away!
Love the scene in HCF where MacMillan just sets fire to the whole truck containing all the PC's that the company only had slaved over to build during the entire season Ha an awesome scene with an awesome song in the background.
This was used in an episode of Coninuum tv sci-fi show (2012 to 2015) at a Critical Time travel scene and it was a WTF!! Perfect song … think it was 2013.
I love how there's no real melody, no riffs, no "tunes", the lyrics don't really "say" anything … and _yet_ it's such a relentless earworm I can't get it out of my head.
This song was perfectly introduced to me from the series Halt & Catch Fire. I am very thankful for both, illustrating our sometimes moments of madness and recklessness, but to a good beat.
what if the nike commercial brought people here???? it´s awesome that the band get´s that kind of recognition..... i bet you ask the band members... im pretty sure they are quite happy.... their album sales went up..... they keep doing amazing songs... everybody happy..... so please stop with the negative comments
Nostalgia is a strange, strange thing. I have been RACKING my head trying to remember any bit of this song, a song that has been anonymously stuck in my head for YEARS. Last time I heard it I had dosed a bunch of liquid and my ex was fixing me a fat opana shot... And this song, this piece of art made it as beautiful as it was tragic, watching the tourniquet leave tracers as it dangled from my forearm. Present day. 664 days since my last fet OD, and subsequently my last use. EVER. OF ANYTHING. Watching AHS coven, again, and I hear a snippet during the 1st episode and I immediately knew. I'm so grateful to chill TF out and enjoy it with a clear ass mind and body. "choose life" -mark renton. 🖤

Song predicted 2020's general vibe so far lmao
Uh huh....
I just came here to see a comment like this
I find this odd
About five years ago I thought this song sounded like the descent to hell.
We should have listened....
And the name of the album Images of the Future speak for itself. They are high people.

I was so stoked to hear this played on Outer Range's episode 5 opening! I hope it means more people will seek it out and become fans of Suuns.
Same here I paused it to see what the song was.
Yep, I heard it and looked it up, definitely loved the strangenesses of it
That show has a surprisingly good soundtrack

It has been a while but Outer Range reminded me of it.
That main instrumental chorus is epic.

This song is absolutely brilliant. The bass line drives me crazy then the piercing guitar kicks in and every sense in the body is affected.
