the way you could hear the rage, burning, yet channeled into fighting spirit as he yelled "FUCK THE IRS"
the delivery of this line was impeccable, it sent chills down my spine
I shed tears, I wept at this line's utterance
there is a distinct difference between my existence before hearing this line, and my true, enlightened existence afterward, I will never be the same again
this is cinema.
and I don't mean that as in "this is an example of what cinema strives to be"

this is the very concept of cinema itself
piece of film up to this point was merely the prologue to this line
the establishment of the IRS, the cultivation of it's reputation among citizens of the United States of America, hell, even the founding of the United States of America, was all part of the grand build-up to this one singular moment in history, at 3:36 in this video.
years from now, film institutions will dedicate everything they have to the dissection of this one line, the lighting, the cinematography, the symbolism in this one perfect moment
individuals will study, receive degrees, become doctors in the sole study of this line alone.
this one moment is rapture.
the closest we pitiful creatures called humanity will ever reach to attain true enlightenment
the wider world hasn't realized it yet, but once they do, they shall curse themselves for not realizing sooner
such poignance, such elegance, such raw unfiltered passion, all contained within this one line.
as it begins, we hear the boiling rage come to the surface as Pitch Pallas, our newly crowned Messiah, utters the first word of the holy trinity

such raw emotion, you can almost feel the tamed fear, the channeled rage, the glory of battle, all biting at you in a moment of ecstatic pain
next, his tongue slips between his teeth to produce the next word

of course, the second word, the glue holding the entire phrase together, it could not be anything but the most common word in the English lexicon, the placement of this word, the delivery, it is genius, you can feel the natural, yet masterfully cultivated flow of the first word into the second, this is when I could no longer hold back my tears. I wept so vigorously that It felt as if I would never weep again in my short, insignificant life. joy, rage, sadness, fear, confusion, they all washed over me, an eternity of turmoil agitated and resolved in a fraction of an instant, and it was glorious
alas, of course, all good things must inevitably meet their end, gone too soon from this aching wound of a world was the third and final word of this trinity, which in itself held three more words, the genius of this word, "IRS" is not at first obvious, its status as an abbreviation may cause the more cultured among us to turn away in disgust, but in reality, it cements the three-fold nature of the entire phrase into our hearts, minds, and souls. the triangle, the most powerful of all polygons, has 3 sides, and in some cultures, 3 is seen as the "magic number" yea, the true significance of this word is that 3 words are packed into it with such care and understanding, that when true comprehension of the phrase finally graces our mortal minds, we are moved to enlightenment,
this explanation merely scratches the surface of the true power behind this trifecta of words, for its true power is impossible to express with the words we mortals are wont to use, you may think I have wasted my time delivering unto you this message, but nay, all my years of life have led to this point, my true irrefutable purpose, and as such, the joy of fulfilling this purpose coursed through my veins as my fingers ran themselves ragged typing this for you.
though typed words cannot carry the raw, pure, and horrifyingly beautiful meaning of this phrase, I shall type it once more to leave with you a sliver of enlightenment at the end of everything

Beautifully put. This review brought a tear to my eye. When we made this, we knew general audiences wouldn't be able to grasp the full sublime breadth of subtextual storytelling. In fact, we were worried that _no one_ would truly grasp the deep, complex, socio-political messaging of the story. But it fills my heart with joy to see that at least _one_ person was able to understand the layers of meaning.
You might be interested to know that "Fuck the IRS" is actually in part a reference to Aristotle. It's a translated quote from when he stubbed his toe and muttered "Fuck" under his breath. Aristotle's ideas are deeply ingrained in the deepest layer of the subtext of the Stale Trailer, so it was only fitting that we would use his greatest quote to grace the emotional climax of the story.

I had my suspicions that this line was indeed an homage to Aristotle's well-known quote, and I am full glad to hear that they can be soundly confirmed. looking at the trailer through this lens, it's obvious to see the masterfully crafted references to his other works, subtle, yet so tangible, such as both Pitch and the girl (whose symbolism as the wayward lamb who must be guided back to safety by the messiah has not gone unnoticed) both left their ovens on and open in their homes, causing them to lose everything. I am now confident that this is in reference to Aristotle's philosophical piece about how leaving your oven on causes you to become a proverbial phoenix, your gaming computer and crypto mining rig lost to the flames, also I guess your family too, all that is left to do is rise from the ashes, and be reborn. truly moving, I shed tears of blood.
