Need a rank ladder like snap. Collecting digital cards isn’t enough of a pull to continue playing in the long run
We'll see how people react, it's not like you need to log into the game that often. But yeah, it will have rank ladder at some point, perhaps after the next card expansion arrives to allow for people to learn the ropes of the game and more deck diversity.
No ranked is kind of an insane decision... They're going to need to add it for sure
lmao it's not that uncommon, a lot of games don't start out with ranked
I don't think this game is every supposed to be competitive though so I'm not surprised
@@hooky17 Yeah I get that pokemon tcg is a more casual tcg but having nothing at all seems odd. Does it mean as a brand new player in your first game you could match up with someone who has played 1000 games? Maybe they will have some sort of matching system behind the scenes I guess
@@Ztuu Yeah I think pocket specifically won't be competitive. But yeah I agree in that I would like to think there would be some kind of 'matchmaking' algorithm behind the scenes. We'll have to see I guess :)
I hope this game explodes, explodes in the way that they do a lot of updates and pay attention to keep the game alive and going!
Also, i hope that if that happens, they come out with their own collection cards we can buy physically and scan for this game only, to keep it separate from the global TGC

with those polling rates, in 2 years you are guaranteed to obtain a 4 star card, without skipping a day, well actually in two years you would have like 94%

@@mrloco767 Nah, I'm referring to it like maximum. You can't possibly only open two packs every day at average if you count hourglasses, so it would be less than 125 days.

I think what it is, is that they don’t want to make any decisions on ranked or real world events until they know how big it is

I think they will make pack codes for this game if it's successful and make from the original cards and remake Some cards in real life cards, and in those packs will have code so you can make opening packs in game
They said they don't have any plans of connecting this game to the real card game. It will be likely that they give out free digital cards in official pokemon hosted events though.
