I have discovered it 10-12 years ago and every time i hear it i think the same thing, basically we live in the future and it still sounds like the future, timeless
i can never quite explain why i love this genre of music but it is one of those you either love or hate. not much middle ground. i respect everyones perspective but the simplistic waves of sounds in a concise repetitive flow just intrigues me. bare essential but complex..love it
Genialny filmik, genialny klimat.
@SEEK ONE Hi ! I wasn't in Detroit in the 90's but I listen this music from these early times... Today is the same and my son listen it too !!! You are lucky having been there to live this at the right time 🎛️🎧🎶👾📢 KEEP ON GROOVIN'
I'm just finding Plastikman today. This is the first track I've ever heard by him and I'm definitely intrigued to hear more. I'm an ex heroin addict and I could imagine gouching to this. Or early morning with coffee and a spliff
It's quite neat; in some ways, I find Plastikman's music to be a bit on the simple, rudimentary side. Yet that is also a quality of it that makes me keep coming back to it. These drawn-out, stripped, minimal soundscapes that just ebb on for a heavens long time, and at some point, it does some pleasant things to your neural systems.
This is a Plastikman track. Richie Hawtin, famous minimal and acid techno producer; this track was released 15 years ago. Still a good one though, I agree. :)
this song conjures up images of the sun rising as a few hundred kids in funny looking clothes shuffle along to this song on the top floor of the packard plant in detroit.
I have listened to this track when I was 17/18 I think so, now I'm 25 and I just went to bunch of raves, clubs, okupas. Been playing since a couple months, and about to release my first EP... This hypnotic / dissociative feeling caught me enough haha
He rolled the body up on plastic wrap and plastic-explosives (why he's called plastikman) and dumped the evidence like his camera and murder weapon so you'll never see it any other place, sorry.
These dark relatively slow tracks always have a special vibe. They are made for the hour after the after hour.
This thing has 25 years and still sound like the future 🖤

Richie Hawtin - A mad genius or just ingeniously mad... His IDM style is enough to entrance the listener every time...

One of his best imo: dark, enigmatic, hypnotic... still amazing after over 20 years, a masterpiece of minimal!

this song conjures up images of the sun rising as a few hundred kids in funny looking clothes shuffle along to this song on the top floor of the packard plant in detroit.
This song makes me tribal minimalist
This song was dedicated to William Pickard who was one of the last big producers of LSD until his bust in Kansas.
I was wondering about the title thanks.

So timeless.. :)
There is a woman in the video, mesmerized and painted with blood, on her and on the wall behind her. From where is that image? I want it.
He rolled the body up on plastic wrap and plastic-explosives (why he's called plastikman) and dumped the evidence like his camera and murder weapon so you'll never see it any other place, sorry.
