@@naturallyaly I absolutely will! This first week was so eye opening, and yet, still simpler than a wash n go. Which is what I need a break from with today’s products in the market for that style. I just can’t do it. No oils no butters debacle needs to come full circle. So I will be enjoying my fro in the meantime. I’m also very excited to make the largest bonnet I’ve ever made 😁
@@michelleej hi love! Thank you!!! 😍 and depends on if I leave my hair longer than 5 days. 5 is my magic number lol ! After that it becomes difficult to detangle!
@@naturallyaly I JUST experienced that on this blessed Day 6 🙃 it’s been a fun two hours 😂 needless to say, I’ve already planned a mid-week cowash next week.
I noticed before product your hair was curly and shiny. Mines has no curl after shampooing. What do you use? Just gorgeous and I’m definitely going for that look ❤.
@@mrsphylpie7629 hi love! Thank you 🥹♥️So for that wash day I used ouai detox shampoo / oribe moisture shampoo + conditioner. The key for me is double shampoo! And then I always rinse COLD water. To seal moisture. Makes a huge difference!! ♥️
Going to try this on my next wash day! Although I don’t have a diffuser, just a blow dryer! And I hope you’re feeling better, you were sick not too long ago, right? Wishing you all the best. ❤
I love your content and you're my favorite person for Afro inspiration! What's your curl type if I may ask? (I'm trying to figure out mine as well lol)
@@mindofmani thank you so much love!! Made my day! That means a lot 🥹💕! So I don’t actually pay attention to the curl type chart. It has not helped me personally. I pay attention to breakage, how my hair interacts with products and product application. I also have a mixture of curl patterns. Porosity to me is more important because that tells how your hair takes in water. I have low porosity ( has a tightly sealed cuticle layer which makes it harder for water to be absorbed) :)
Ah I just did mine last night and I see now where I went wrong lmao I didnt use the pick at all and it was drying the same way it looked when I applied the leave it so i started using the defuser to push it up which cause friz but not in a good way cause that didnt work, it was still laying down and looked crazy in the middle 😂
OO! Yes haha 😂 the hair pick while diffusing will def help with that!! Also using hair clips to hold up your roots while diffusing helps ❤! And diffusing upside down for a bit also!
Named my hair Yaz on 12/24/24 because of you. I love it. Turns out Yaz has many meanings but I'm choosing to accept the meaning that comes from Asian languages and is a surname, lol. ❤️
@naturallyaly Thank you! You inspired me. Appreciate you and your personality and your beautiful hair. I shared you on my Community tab for Mixed Woman Monday. 😘💖 Greetings to you and your lovely family.

What made you name her Tina?
Does the Miss Jessie Pillowsoft Curls have any hold or is it a leave in creme?
@hopiiii1 it does have some hold but not a lot so if you prefer more definition with hold I would use a gel with it :)
What do you do at night?
