I am all for Cannondale CAAD12/13 1x with this nice curved narrow-wide chainring on the Cannondale cranks but 54t? ooof ... looks too big IMHO... if it works it works though
Bodge is the word! Mounts are all over the place on this frame eh! Lots of cutting and drilling (and hours) but have ended up with a set that barely rub and keep me mostly dry.
Nick! Honestly, no they weren’t, although I’m not a seasoned mudguard fitter. They are indeed the 30s but I’ve seen 37s fitted to these bikes - only in bigger frame sizes though and I was worried as this is little! I’m surprised how well this video went down and I could harp on for hours about the mudguards so I’ll do a video all about them shortly.
Hello, whats the weight of the bike with standart components, do you know? Im thinking about to get me the CAAD 13, i love my CAAD 10 but the dics dont harm the rim, and in wet weather they are way better.
All about riding style and what you’re used to eh! I’m 170cm as well but have always ran my bikes quite racy, it started because it looks cool and I’ve just gotten used to that riding position. Let’s be real, there’s no correct way to set up your bike. It’s always a compromise between loads of factors.
I’ve got the 30mm here but it’s very tight to the tyre. I bought them because I wasn’t 100% sure the 37’s would fit, but now I’ve got them I’m sure that the 37’s would be fine, and stop more water from escaping. Go for the 37’s!
They say 30mm, but I’ve fitted 33mm cyclocross tyres on 19mm internal width rims in absolutely fine albeit with very little room for mud. 38s did not fit with those same rims but I reckon you’d be alright with a 35mm slick.
Great build my friend, especially for the winter months, i have my own custom build... Enjoy to the fullest 👍🏽...

Lovely bike! Bet the color looks even more amazing in-person!
Ooh it’s nice yeah! Very deep red 💄
This is build is 🔥 🔥
Hey! What headset cups did you use? I want to get rid of my headset conical spacer, and get the slammed look!
Any IS41 top cover will do the trick. This is a Cane Creek Slamset 👌
Class build that, I’m running a Cinelli vigorelli road as a winter bike this year 🤘
Sweet! I’d love to be able to pull off a Cinelli ;)
Looks amazing! Does the caad13 have mudguard mounts?
Yeah man! Check my latest video, it’s all about putting mudguards on this bike!
Nice bike, I’ve got a black one! How do you find the mudguards? I had to proper bodge some sks ones to get them to fit

I'm looking for mudguards. Were the PDW easy to fit? I take it they were the 30 rather than the 37?

Proper mudguard video up now Nick, see what you reckon!

Good question - I never weighed it to be fair but it’s probably not going to be as light as your CAAD10. Maybe between 9 and 10 kg…
How tall are you? Im 170cm tall and I could never slam let alone use a 130mm stem.

What is the frame size?
Which size fender? I'm also running 28 wide tires on my CAAD13 and want to get the right size fenders from PDW

I would like to replace the monstrous stock bearing top cover so I can get my fit right, is that the supersix 5mm one? Thanks!
Agree, the stock is very tall! Any IS41 headset cover will work - this is from a (discontinued) Cane Creek Slamset 👍
wait, how do you route the internal cable ?
Use the standard ports but run the hoses super close to the frame and tape them underneath the stem. Looks tidy doesn’t it!
Which tire size fits in fork and frame ?

@@WillGellBiking thanks. I guess 30 or 33mm are okay for mainly paved roads with some detours on light gravel, aren’t they?!
100%. Look at the cobbled classics which are tougher than a lot of off-road. 30mm is considered plenty for that!
