I brought home a couple of sheepers a few weeks back (the ones without warts!), just to try out.
side note: them bungholes were not all blown out by the time we got home.
Anyway, I tried out one filet. It was surprisingly good, not "fishy" at all. It was a bit chewy/rubbery (a bit like octopus). I think it's be good for fish tacos (I did walleye tacos and didn't like the lack of "meatiness").
I ended up feeding the rest to the foxes that have denned up at the edge of the yard (momma and 5 pups).
I'd keep one or two, once in a great while...certainly nothing I want to fill up the freezer with!
Won't lie. I just can't eat them things man I've seen too many with weird and unusual things on them lmao

I have that same quantum/denali combo and love it. Not as light as the mags but definitely no complaints
John Latham got it for me on his own birthday lol ..I love my Razr Rodz though have to say the Denali and the mags both just don't have the sensitivity the Razr Rodz has
