    Do you have a topic that you would like us to talk about live? Let us know down below and thanks for watching!

    👍🤩💝Fantastic. So glad you guys are trying out the van. 🤩💝

    That was me who asked about the beds a couple of videos back. I'm glad to know the twins are working for you and wide enough to sleep comfortably. Perhaps, if you got Bella a dog bed and put it between your 2 beds at night, she'd feel like she is with you without having to get in the beds since you had mentioned she does that and it was an issue in those narrow beds.
    It's got to be a huge contrast in both driving and living in this verses the Vista. Pros and cons make lots of sense. Good stuff!

      It's a pretty big difference to say the least lol. We appreciate your questions and I'm sorry I couldn't remember live that it was you who asked the bed questions. We will put Belles bed between our two beds tonight and see if she goes for it. We sometimes call her a velcro dog as she hates to leave our side lol.

      No apology necessary for not remembering! Going through all the comments is a feat in itself, I wouldn't expect you to remember who said what. Velcro dog, indeed. I had one of those years ago. It's endearing. I'm curious to know how the bed placement works for her. Hopefully, she likes it!

    Whoever is in the space, give them that space for now. Goes for all of us, not just in the van😊

    How do you compare and contrast the driving experience? Cab noise? Road feel? Is it more relaxing to drive the Vista or Travato?
    And how about the camping experience? Comparing the sound/thermal insulation? Which one is quieter at the campground? And which one stays warm/cool without using AC/heater?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These are great questions! Cab noise is similar, but I give the edge to the van because wind noise is just a bit less in it. Road noise is about the same. The Van has less squeaks and less rattles than our Vista.
      I am probably more relaxed in the Vista while driving, the van does not have the big captain chairs like our Vista does, they are pretty much like lazy boy chairs and I tend to drive slower and in a more direct line with the Vista compared to switching lanes and moving through traffic in the van.
      At the campground the Van is slightly quieter inside front out door sounds, but everything inside the van is louder, like the AC and water pump. This is probably because we are closer to everything in the van, the roof is 7inches closer to us in the van.
      Thermal Temps go to our Vista, this again could be due to size and the factvwe have cargo bays in our Vista that are also probably acting like a thermal barrier, especially in the rear of the RV.
      Honestly, none of these are wildly out of control or different from each other and it took us some thought to really compare the two.
      Thank you for the questions. We might take these and turn them into a video.
      Safe travels!

    Love this! We are considering swapping our gas truck and 22' travel trailer for a class b. The main pro for us would be the ease of making those along-the-way stops and not having to worry about where/when we are fueling up. Very helpful to know however that although a B might be less tiring and allow for longer drives, it could also unwittingly "encourage" longer drive days!
    WTR is spot on with "whoever is using the space owns the space"; for a tiny footprint, our floorplan is pretty spacious, but we still follow that rule. Most of the time we are ok when one of us gets up early, which happens often. We are each ok with sitting and reading until the other is up, and my husband set up a dimmable tape light so that we can have a tiny bit of reading light that won't affect the other one. Of course, it may also help that he can be just on the edge of our at-home kitchen in his recliner and completely sleep through me making dinner :D
    Looking forward to seeing how the rest of your time in the van goes!

    I'm so glad I have a 23ft class C. VAN LIFE WITH n indoor cat would never work. I looked at a camper van just like your temp home. I have no slides and minimal hook ups and 12 volt fridge also so never worry about levels. Also your spaces in campgrounds seem nicer too.

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think a 23foot Class C really is the best of both worlds, a little more storage than the van, but yet small enough to get into everywhere. Wishing you continued safe travels!

    We love our 23 Travato 59G but just a couple of observations. Still getting used to the driver's seat so high. I often have to crouch down to see out the window if I'm looking upwards. Also, when in the mountains it seemed a little underpowered but fortunately that's not a common occurrence. So far pretty happy with no problems or issues.

    • @MovingForwardAdventures

      I remember it taking me a while to get comfortable in the driver's seat. Something was definitely off about it, but I eventually settled into it. We didn't do any serious mountain grades, but we have heard others say it feels underpowered while climbing. Wishing you continued safe travels

    Well, it has been a year for you. How has it been living in this? We are looking at downsizing from a 44 ft Holiday Rambler Endeavor to a van next summer. After surviving cancer last year, and being full-time RVers for 17 years and having multiple sizes, we believe THIS van set up is what we are moving to next. We have been to 40 states so far but we have so many things to see and do and it feels so urgent. Thank you so much for your videos, they really are helpful!

    How long are your showers? And, how many showers can you take before you need to refill the tank?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there, we were able to get 4 showers total per tank. I would say our showers were short, navy showers. Turn the water on get wet, turn the water off to soap up then turn water back on to rinse. No relaxing under water or anything like that. Which is fine, we would go shower knowing it was just to get cleaned up

    Do you think this as a single person use would improve some of the cons? I travel for work and use RV as "second work home." My fam is not uprooted all the time. I'm thinking downsizing to "stealth" so I can park near or on base and use dump stations each week instead of full hookup expense.
    Thoughts?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, definitely! This would actually feel very roomy for one person and would have plenty of storage for your things. I can see why these vans are so popular with solo travelers

    This is Michelle and Jim from Winnebago Rally. How about being able to stand up? Do you have to bend down a lot?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Michelle and Jim, great meeting you both at the Rally. We can stand straight up everywhere in the Van except for in the cab area, and we have bumped our head moving to the front seats when coming from the rear of the RV.

    Is your morning coffee routine stilp the same? Are y'all still grilling?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No grilling, I didn't even try to find a place to put it. Sabrina wanted to bring a lot of her stuff with her so our compromise was 80/20 she is using 80% of the storage and I'm using 20% that could be why I'm feeling so light and nimble over here lol. I actually stopped drinking coffee and teas a little over a year ago, but yes it would have been the same in this as the Vista, just a single server/maker

    Did you keep the Vista? Or do you just have the Travato?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We still have the Vista, we were only product testing Travato for a few weeks to give Winnebago some feedback on what we thought of it.

      It was great and feel very fortunate to test vehicles for Winnebago. We hope to do it again soon.

    Why did you downsize?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This wasn't permanent for us. We are Winnebago Ambassadors and we sometimes product test their RVs to give them feedback. We are planning on taking out another van in November, different model than this one and one of their Class C's at the end of November. It's fun for us to test them out and they get some good user feedback from them.
