  • A uniform ladder of length L and weight w is leaning against a vertical wall. The coefficient of static friction between the ladder and the floor is the same as that between the ladder and the wall. If this coefficient of static friction is us 5 0.500, determine the smallest angle the ladder can make with the floor without slipping.

    Ah, this classic question. lol
    A good Physics 1/Dynamics question.
    Remember, a proper Free Body Diagram is half the battle, also knowing what your Given and Finding .
    Given, Find, Solution.
    I wonder how fast i could solve this. Usually takes me like 30 minutes for a decent problem.
