My local slope got closed this season. It's a long story but to make it short some people didn't like the land trade and the owner didn't want to argue so now the nearest slope is 180 km away :)
Thank you Jens your channel has helped me so much. I have taken multiple friends out on the mountain this season to teach skiing and I ALWAYS make sure they watch your 10 things to do your first day of skiing every time and it has really helped them. Thank you so much for helping with my progression in park you are the best.
@@nickw22689 I did go up Saturday and it was very 👌. But Monday was the hardest and most ice I've ever seen, couldn't believe I wasn't on the east coast.
I think 540 is easier than 360. But I fractured the little horisontal bones in my L3 and L5 so I just want to ride my skis when my back is healed. Your vids make my day
Living my ski season through you this year .no sign of us being able to fly out from Wales.you must use Up so much energy .how do you keep your legs fresh? Be good to have a exercise and diet video.
Maybe some training video might come for the summer or autumn. Diet is a tricky topic I don't feel comfortable recommend anything how ever I feel pretty good on Paleo ish type diet. But I'm not so strict had pizza and wine yesterday.
Great video! Though I am curious what proportion of the viewers are actually good enough freestyle skiers to do any of these and how many (like me) are just piste skiers watching for fun!
for tail butter 3s not on a roller i always have to do a 180 0ff a side hit land switch and carry the momentum in order to get the pressure i need on the tails for it to be a tail butter
Awesome video as always jens!! thanks to your videos i landed my first back and frontflips the other days, sended even a double. can you maybe give me any advice on laying them out more? because halfway through i always chicken out pointing my head further to the landing and pull my legs back too early.. maybe you got any adivce on that :) cheers!
@@StompItTutorials Definitely think people would. Can you please do some easy tricks you can do without twintip? I’ve been watching for years but I’ve mostly been carving and chasing powder, I’m new to tricks and don’t have twintips
I work at Catamount ski resort in Massachusetts. And I’m a ski and snowboard instructor and I would love to come to your camp. But where are you located.
Step 1. Learn how to rails. Haha. I wish my resort had boxes like laax. Mine has these borders where your skis always get caught. Anyone got any advice on how to overcome catchin an edge on the box.
Hey I'm looking at becoming a Ski instructor, so I found your job posting with BASI. I'm not nearly good enough for it but you ask for at least an ISIA stamp (BASI 3) but then specify BASI 4 later. Was this a mistake or have I missed something in the details of the qualifications?
Great job with this video, thx for the tips and keep it up guys! 👏🏽 Just a little off topic question: could I know the brand and model of those grey pants? I’ve a similar jacket and the orange-grey combination is so cool
Things that look cool on skis: Jumps, spins, flips, carves, pretty much everything Things that look dumb as hell on skis: sliding down rails like a rollerblader

Thank you so much! I was already doing jumps but was having trouble with tricks, this channel helps alot!
Yes, was waiting for this video to come!
Just fractured a rib after my 13th 360. I landed almost all of the previous. Pro tip, don’t rotate on the take off.
Thanks for the help! I've watched you since 2017 and i love the content you produce so much!
Happy to hear that!
I went to the hill landed all of them first try thanks to the amazing teaching

Lookin' good man! Happy Winter!
Nice video! I would add opp carve 360 and lazyboy 360 to this list. These are part of my favorite intermediate tricks!
Good choice!
This video is very helpful cause my rail tricks are lacking and i can try these new ones
Glad it was helpful!

I think 10% max. But anyone can learn most of these with a few weeks of skiing per year for a few years.

Yea any of them. Normal skis also have a tiny tail. Enough to land switch or ski switch.

Can I do these tricks with the atomic bent chetler 120? Or are these not maked for this kind of stuff?

Hey Oliver,
To stand a chance you basically gotta have level 4 unless your a badass freestyle skier too then maybe level 3 will be enough :P

Nice
Backflip needs to be on this list...way easier than almost all of these tricks
Yes but I already made an in-depth video on it so it gut cut.
im fearing that im gonna fail it but i can do triple on trampoline so any tips?

Your weight isn’t centered. Have your weight on the front foot

Practice while standing still until you every time land nice and balance with a good amount of weight on the front foot.
Whenever I do 540s on rather bigger jumps I land very nose heavy
