    My aunt had the same vacuum Eureka the boss 1934a I loved the sound of it when it was quiet but then it was loud when she moved into her new house she got rid of it now she has a Dyson

    Hey do you know if they still sell the Eureka 1934 A. My aunt had one and I loved it

      the 1934 A is not made anymore. Keep an eye out for a used one.

    Very cool - it's rare that 2 or more versions of Eurekas are featured in the same video. It's interesting to note the comparisons and contrasts. The 1934-A, -B (and -AX, -AGS) are a great example of modern vintage; similar to how the Kirby Company successively modernized its basic style over the years. The model name "The Boss" was used by Eureka beginning in the early '90s on its basic, no frills versions of each of its vacuum cleaner lines. It came from William Henry "Boss" Hoover (August 18, 1849 - February 25, 1932), who with his son Herbert Sr., began the predecessor company of what became Hoover in 1915. Thanks for posting.
