Do you have to be transported to an arena every time you fight enemies or can you also just fight them out in the world?
There are battles you cannot avoid but walking into the cursed scrolls can be avoided, unless you don't want to.

I wish they took the time to optimize high refresh rate I would of paid extra but I know they wouldnt make their money back putting the time into it
