- Te Henua is a climate change advocacy song by Rex Puaria of Mortlock island in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville. Rex was one of the main characters in the documentary film "There was once an island". Sung in the polynesian dialect of Takuu, this song expresses the concern for the loss of land, resources and livelihood to effects of global warming, a phenomenon unknown to islanders who have never at any point of their existence contributed significantly to Climate change! I have decided to make a photo project using pictures taken on my last visit to Mortlock Island in 2005.
