    head bobbing is never a show of excitement, bearded dragons head bob if they believe something is threatening them

    Arm waving is a sign of submission. The young and girls do it. Dominant males never really do it

      @@ripbeni6198 Arm waving is a sign of submission not dominance. It is done by babies and females, not males. Basically the dragon is saying "please don't hurt me!" Head bobbing is not like a dog wagging its tail. It's more like a dog growling. It means they are angry, showing dominance, or see a female mate. This is mostly done by males

      @@ansnfbsknanssshshbsnsndnd5438 arm waving is done by males too, even the most aggressive and dominant males. Source: I have/had 4 beardies, 2 males and 2 females. Both my males will wave to each other.

      @@ripbeni6198 duhhh dude this isn’t even about lizards or even bearded dragons, but when you have two territorial solitary animals around the same size with similar defensive capabilities, they are more likely to keep their distance or even cohabitate than fight to the death especially as I said if there is no significant size difference and defensive ability even though this doesn’t mean that your dragons are friends.

      @@Lucciii32 read his comment, he said male beardies dont wave, i was only addressing that with the last of my comments

    So would seizures be more due to neurological condition over MBD?

  • @RabeccaPrimeau
    @RabeccaPrimeau ปีที่แล้ว

    My 6yr old Beardie had a seizure last night was scary he was doing summersault, mouth open, tongue out, beard blackened, top of tail dark stomach flat is this due to MBD? I’m not aware of he’s been quivering his head for some time randomly

    I have a beardy who stopped using his tongue to eat, he seems to not be seeing his food anymore
    And he will just bonk his snout into his food dish.
    I found this video cause I’m trying to figure this out.
    His vet believes it’s a brain lesion. Could this be a vitamin deficiency?
    No other symptoms
    Just acting sorta loopy and confused about eating
