This one tip can change your life if you’re diligent about it. A lot of people can say “No.” Only a select few can sign checks and say “Yes” on behalf a lot of companies. Bypass gatekeepers and go straight to decision makers whenever possible.

This kinda relates to a story 50 told in a different interview. When he was speaking on his lil beef with Dre, especially over The Games contract.
The deal was supposed to be split with Dre, 50 & Em.
Somehow on the final contract, Em got cut out.
Fif didn't like it, went to Em & tried to give him half his cut. Em said, no you keep it, you earned it.
Estimated to be worth close to 20 milly..
Another reason why 50 has so much respect, appreciation & most importantly Trust in Em.
Entertainment is an ugly business & you don't usually get that type of loyalty & trust.

Always wondered why 50 didn’t stay active in the “rap game” then I remembered his whole plan was to Get RICH or die trying. At his height in rap, the only way to keep getting richer was to leave rap.
Jay Z, Kanye, Rihanna all got really rich outside of music.
    Makes Cents lol

    • @BrianJRoberts
      @BrianJRoberts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +42

Well put! Rap made him RICH, but stepping away made him WEALTHY. Rap was just his launch pad. It gave him the platform. The same year he dropped Get Rich or Die Trying (2003) he made $80M off the Reebok sneaker deal then he parlayed the success of that into the $100M Vitamin Water deal, et. al. Just like Jay-Z with Ace, Ye with Yeezy, Rihanna with Fenty, etc.

He said he in his book he is not good rapper but he was lucky enough to create relevant hooks like it’s your birthday etc. Also he said the music business was dying. He used to sell CDs but CDs died. And his sells started dropping. He had no choice but to switch careers. Book reference Hustle Hard Hustle smarter.

The other day I woke up wondering why I felt like I had one dream after another & Fifty was in all of them. I had no recollection of what I saw except that he seemed to be the person that stayed with me. This morning I opened TH-cam & saw an interview Fifty had done. Out of curiosity I clicked on it and it was exactly what I needed to hear at that moment. I ended up watching three different interviews he'd done and at the end of the last one was when I remembered seeing him in my dreams literally three days ago. The dreams were a type of foresight about what I would do three days later. Fearlessness can be seen as a gift. I've always seen my own fearlessness as such because it has always felt like a power that is greater than I am. It is potent. Now I see that it is the power of life. A power that is so potent that it propels you forward even when you feel helpless. Knowing that you are fully engaged & doing your part to the fullest. Things will work out just fine. Your fearlessness is faith. The life force, the power of the breath of God that propels you through this physical world and beyond. Thanks to the creator of this channel and to Fifty for sharing this work. Peace.

Great interview….he dropped a lot of jewels. He’s good at looking at the psychology of ppl and situations. He’s a beast & knows how and when to apply pressure. I know wat his image is but I truly believe he’s a good person/loyal IF you’re on his good side but he hell if you not😂
He’s right about certain ppl not liking conflict but use “civil” ways laws, policies, rules, regs etc to do the same thing to you but in their world it’s the law. They created a legal way to rob or destroy you & we are conditioned to just accept it. They call directly speaking to an issue confrontational & paint certain ppl as aggressive bc they are use to speaking with a forked tongue and doing you dirty on paper (contracts, laws, etc).

You can see it my face when he brought that Britney Spears analogy full circle. At first I was thinking "Hmm.. where's he going with this?" then I was like "Oh.... shit!"
At 24:55 he started it off by saying "That's why I don't give a fuck. Think about it, it would be entertaining for them to see me in crisis. So why would you care about someone who would want to see you in the worst circumstances?"
A LOT of life lessons packed in here. A LOT. I could write a book about this one conversation. Shit, I may reach out to his people about that...

I had originally listened to the mp3 version of this, use to listen to it while at the gym towards November-December 2021.
But the questions and listening on the part of the listener was so good I had to watch the video and I have been watching different scenes for like four (4) times now.
    Great interview.
It'd be one for the ages.

His mind is on a higher level he is becoming a different person. He is realizing the whys and the whos behind the music industry which we all know are Devils. He is figuring out that with all of his money and talents there is much to do in the world that is suffering. He is getting close to touching what needs to be done.

Fifty on boxing and the avoid any alcohol and the rest , sounds familiar with a monster mind I ve heard about , it was about the same idea ,on anything there might be to improve ,mind and the rest, and by having the real street knowledge, whether u have killed a man or not , there u go. Couldn't name many men like that and I ve seen a lot. Got my admiration.

Mr.50 Cent, Sir, you're right. And I'm thankful that somebody out there, has the power to explain this complicated situation in a comprehensive way. Back here in my city, I'm the only hustler left with common sense and not recruited.I mean everybody I know back here in my city, are working for corporation, government, mafia or some type of organisations that are affiliated locally or internationally. For the fact that I refused to be part of any structure ( not because I didn't want it but because they've approached me in ways that are agresive and I've always backed up), I was bombarded from all the directions in order to make me break psychologically and spiritually. And they've failed. It's like mobbing only more agresive. They don't even let me jogging, they are sending teams in the park where I'm jogging that are trying to intimidate me. The thing is, this is happening for such a long time ( we are talking about years) that the people send to intimidate me, started to like me. Because I'm not agresive, I'm a creative person very opened to make things happen in a way that brings value to the people around me. I'm writing you these, because I will be super honoured to be able to work with you, or just to send you an e-mail where I can send you a business plan just to see how I think. Your music is part of my childhood. I was listening years ago "best-friend" I was hustling with the car back here in my city, imagining that my girl is not only my love but my best friend also. Then it was P.I.M.P. , Candy Shop, Down on Me.And every one of your songs, influenced my behaviour at one point in my life. Anyway, I hope this message reaches you because it was published in the same day with my birthday 24.09 and for me, this is a big sign! Love & Peace!

Thanks for sharing your energy, and tips for life with us. I am your fan and sometimes listen to your audiobook while doing walking and pushups exercises. I like you man, and you are a 5 stars guy to me! Good music but most important your thoughts are inspiring! Thank you so much and enjoying every interview and your content. This interview is a direct indication that street knowledge and the street hustler mentality is far more valuable to the real world and when applied properly to the corporate world can produce enormous success . Realistically if the same opportunities were given to lower income people that are given to the wealthy the outcome would show that the street hustler will multiply that bag . Fifty is proof of that he came from nothing and made it to multi millionaires status without being given anything . He created his opportunities and then applied the street hustler mentality to it and look where he is now . Corporate America is fully aware of this and that why they keep us limited and still attached to the streets cause we would take there spot. Real shit
