    This is priceless :
With their striking patterns and unique behavior, triggerfish have captivated the attention of marine enthusiasts for generations.
The scientific name of triggerfish is Balistidae, which is a family of fish known for their distinctive appearance and predatory behavior. These fish can be found in tropical and subtropical waters around the world, and they have a diverse range of habitats, from coral reefs to sandy bottoms.
Triggerfish are known for their distinctive ability to "lock" their dorsal spine in an upright position, which they use as a defense mechanism to deter predators. This spine is also used to lock themselves into crevices and protect themselves from strong currents.
In terms of biology, triggerfish are omnivores and feed on a variety of prey, including small fish, crustaceans, mollusks, and even sea urchins. They have powerful jaws and sharp teeth, which they use to crush the shells of their prey.
This was a blunthead triggerfish, here is good old wiki : en.wikipedia.o...

Standard 2 band 130 cm padouk speargun i made recently. I used a gopro 7 (the best model unfortunately, the 8 is also good, after that the reliability is so bad that i wouldnt bother, the 10 was just unusable)

I see you always use floppers. How often do you lose fish? I guess not often or you wouldn't use them. I seem to lose too many fish on floppers - even when they are well tuned. So, I've moved to slip tips which takes me out of the game on some opportunities for fear of messing up my tips.

Yeah, havent lost anything because of the flopper in a long while, no yellowtail, no wahoo, it's all about shot placement ;)

seems obvious but really knowing where that shaft is going is rather important. Many guns are not super well balanced... Most Riffe's come to mind jajajaja The newer Riffes are ok but the older stuff, omg@@goyo2897

That's a blunthead triggerfish. Different from the normal finescales. That's about as big as they get. Shot one last time I was in la paz.
