@@Kierio04 i learnt about the option for running pal isos at 60fps (yes, I guess the pal iso I have been using for nearly 10 years now has been at 50fps the whole time I guess), i learnt that you can softdrift on keyboard without having to open TAS input, and I did at some point already know about the option to undo loading a savestate, but have basically never used that and thus forgot it existed, so I wanna get into the habit of using that more
@@TASSnoop I’m surprised you didn’t know about PAL60, but the other two make sense. I only found out about the modifier key (through Campbell) and undo save/load (through Wade) back in 2020-2021 - over time I’ve just tried to utilise as many hotkeys as dolphin has to offer
It's about time we get a polished MKW TASing tutorial, and your overall knowledge of this game makes you perfect for this! Incredibly well done, and I'm looking forward to part 2!
You're in luck because the all-in-one pack actually comes with all the gecko codes you need! The next part will just be explaining how they work and how to add your own should you need to.
Yes, otherwise you'll have to manually browse for your ISOs every time you want to use them, among other things. I explain how to set up your paths in this video
@@Red_sweat Please don’t apologise for asking questions! I’m happy to answer! But yeah, you only need to set up your game folder path, everything else will be automatically generated by Dolphin

Thank you for starting this big project, I had no resources when I started TASing this game, so this will help so many people, Thank you
Learning from the most basic dolphin tutorial in 2024 wasn't on my bingo card, but here I am, still learning something new
Wait what did you learn that was new?

i feel like this is something people have been wanting for a while
It's always nice to see more public resources for stuff like this. Keep it up!
This is what everyone was waiting for.
Can't wait to watch the rest of the series!
Great effort! This series will be really valuable to our community.
The long awaited updated TAS Tutorial! I will one day try actually using scripts and text files now.
This is so exciting and I hope this will result in more and more people entering the TAS scene in the nearby future :]
I've been waiting this for years 😮
Thanks for this
This is what we need, thank you!
Nice tutorial.
i love you
Thanks kiro
Waiting for part 2
Btw what do i do if i have a pal vers. And want/need a NTSC-U vers?
Either buy a North American copy of the game, or just keep using PAL. Any other method involves piracy so I can’t recommend it

It was just the game folder. i’m so dam stupid🤣
