I was kind of thinking they should try making a show instead of a sequel; the shorts prove that it could work as a concept.

I like this idea, it kinda goes into the lore of Toy Story as well. The first movie was created to push the boundaries between 2d animation and computer generated animation. So seeing Andy tackle that would be cool. And the animators themselves would definitely relate to this, so it would be a passion project for them, and would bring back their love for Toy Story, not just a cash grab. They can call it "Andy Story"
Exactly I always thought that if they tried to give toy story another sequel, it should be about Andy.
Right! There's so much there I'd love to see the pixar crew do with a premise like that as a show.
You know I’ve seen a few TH-camrs do idea pitches for what the next Toy Story movie. Some of them are pretty good and others are just ok. But your idea is unique because instead of focusing on the toys, you have Andy as the main character and I like it because we never really focused on the human characters in this world before. The plot being Andy’s life in college could definitely work and I think Logan Lerman, Melissa Barrera and Ming Na Wen would be great casting choices (haven’t really seen the other guy in anything so I can’t really say anything about him). But this is really good and I personally would like to see what happens in Season 2.

The first one is Alita Battle Angel. The first movie was such a pleasant surprise to me and a lot of other people. And I know that fans of the movie really want a sequel including myself.
The second one might be a little trickier but what about a sequel to Inception? Maybe done in a different way with a new set of characters (and maybe an appearance from someone that was in Cobb’s crew).
This is how I hope Toy Story 5 goes:
1. They start with an apology for Toy Story 4
2. They just play Toy Story 1, 2, and 3 again.
If this has Andy wanting to do animation, then there has to be a Pete Doctor vocal cameo as one of the teachers or one of the industry experts

I feel like a lot of Disney plus shows don't get love unless its from the star wars or marvel, so that's why I recommended Hulu cause it would be surprise and I think more people would check it out if they saw it on there cause it may appeal to those people better. I feel like a PREQUEL movie/maybe show, would be really good, and cool to see how Woody got to into Andy's life and the other toys too. AND who the first toys were maybe in order of who come first.

This would be a decent idea for a Pixar series separate from the Toy Story franchise, but thematically it doesn't really work as a Toy Story narrative.
The whole appeal of the Toy Story franchise is the adventures that the toys embark without their owner knowing. If you take away that element, you lose what makes the series so unique.
Toy Story 5, either a film or TV Show, needs Buzz and Woody.
its not really a toy story movie pitch, but as i explained in the video its meant to be seperate and its own thing entirely, the title of the video was the best possible way for me to title it for the video to get engagement, but I explained what the series was pretty vividly enough in the video, despite the title. But also with all due respect though I don't think toy story should follow buzz or woody anymore, to me at least it'd be beating a dead horse, kids nowadays are dealing with different things than what we were, I'd like to follow completely new toys but that's just my take toy story doesn't have to be about Buzz or Woody every single time... and audiences have already shown they don't want spin offs of the same toys like buzz hence the lightyear flop (even though I didn't mind it) but yeah I just don't agree that they need to keep with the same toys, that's like saying ironman needs to be in every marvel movie ever including the raimi ones when that's not the case in order to do well. Toy Story sells just like Avengers sells itself, I humbly appreciate you giving me your feedback and watching the video, seriously. would love to continue the dialect and ask what you feel would be pretty cool to reboot or continue in a hypothetical in terms of recommendation? or what you'd potentially do with a general story of toy story 5 following buzz and woody.

Toy Story 5: The Lost World of Play
Bonnie's family goes on a road trip to a mysterious destination, and the toys come along for the adventure. When they arrive, they discover a hidden world where toys come to life, but only if they're forgotten by their owners.
Main Plot:
The toys soon realize that this world is in danger, as a dark force, "The Shadow," threatens to erase all forgotten toys from existence. The toys must band together to stop The Shadow and save this magical world.
Subplot 1: Woody's Past
Woody discovers a forgotten toy from his past, a toy he thought was lost forever. As he reconnects with this toy, he learns more about his own history and the importance of holding onto memories.
Subplot 2: Buzz's New Friend
Buzz befriends a toy from this new world, a brave and daring toy named "Aurora." Together, they embark on thrilling adventures and learn the value of trust and partnership.
Climax:
The toys face off against The Shadow in an epic battle. Woody, Buzz, and their friends use their unique skills and work together to defeat the darkness and save the Lost World of Play.
Themes:
- The power of memory and nostalgia
- Embracing the past and moving forward
- Friendship and teamwork
- The magic of imagination and play

Neat premise, however the problem with it is that the toys don't play a role in it, you see the Toy Story series has always been viewed from the perspective of the toys, and I feel to just not have them in them in in this show would go against what Toy Story is about. In my opinion, I think a better idea would be to have Woody at least stumbling upon Andy and in some way throughout the series Woody helps Andy with his work or work duties outside of school. Maybe at the end of the series Andy reunites with the rest of the gang and keeps them as keepsakes, but also inspiration for his imagination. Perhaps his short film could be about Toys coming to life, which would be ironic seeing as how secretly his toys have been alive all this time. Anyway as I say great idea for a series, I would watch it, it just needs more Toys in it.
I'm pretty sure everything you're saying is what I basically pitched outside of the toys being directly involved, I stated in the video that this idea is meant to be seperate from the toys in the toy story universe all together which is why we are following andy, so Woody wouldn't have a function in it because its only about Andy and his journey. plus we kind of saw him do what you recommended, "the whole look after a kid and help them without them realizing it" in Toy Story 4 so I didn't want to retread old ground, but I get what you're saying. They should make a time line in a episodes for andy and bonnie timeline. Another seasons of the origin and aftermath.
I kind of disliked bonnie after toy story 4 since she didn't really care about woody at all. I don't know if that makes me sound petty lol. Plus she's still young at the moment but maybe in a future season or spin off for sure.
@@pulpminer6865 That would be interesting scenarios that she has to learn missing a toy has consequences. It due to she learns being responsibility in taking care of them. Bonnie as a progress would be interesting if she learn flaws and realize those toy can speak.
