I think CCSTOYS gokins are more the spiritual successor to Fewture EX Gokins. With all due respect to the late Taku Sato, who were it not for him these designs would probably not even be imagined. These are all basically Fewture-inspired pieces but with 2020's manufacturing tech. I can't wait for Great Mazinkaiser!

These look nothing like the EX Gokin Sato designs. Why would you even write that?

@@KumaStyle I think in general, the restyling is as radical as EX Gokin. They're clearly different from the manga/anime material ( except for Mazinger Zero---which the manga artist ADMITTED were influenced by EX Gokin Mazinger )
They're not the first to go for restylings but they're one of the few that are doing LARGE pieces. So I think they're kinda occupying the same niche as EX Gokin did.
The line isn't big & diverse enough to be anything like SRC yet. Maybe one day.
Although I'll admit I've been kind of out of the loop in this genre so I might be a bit off on that take. 😅

@@allyourmoney The stylizations are nothing like the Fewture Models EX Gokin designs... at all. Sato had a very specific design style and it along with its legacy deserves to be respected and not tarnished by comparing them to things that don't fit in at all.
The reason that I call this the successor to the Super Robot Chogokin line is because they're non-transforming, diecast pieces with a focus on articulation and whatnot. Every line has to start somewhere in terms of the amount of figures so that's a non-factor. Yes they're larger but the analogy has nothing to do with scale.
