- In this video I will reveal the RESULT of my test of the additive LIQUI MOLY Öl-Verlust-Stop / OIL Leak Stop on my beloved 745i e65. If it works on this 4.4 V8 N62B44, it should work on other engines too. The beast have problems with valve seals leaking oil, so before going for expensive repairs I am testing this additive.

It's not white smoke. It's blue.. I have the same problem, also tried this product and it did not work.
The only product i super highly RECOMMEND on any German automobile when doing an oil change is to add some amazing "Prolong" additive.... That stuff is a god to any engine and the stuff it does to your engine to preserve it and keep it like new no matter how you treat it is astonishingly unbelievable!
It may be that the seals were to far gone for this kind of save. Best to use this product early and likely wouldn't hurt to give a smoke free engine the treatment to maintain healthy rear main and stem seals amongst others.

that smoke with every BMW, but the ABS will show you on carly obd ii that it is a speed sensor but you need to change the drive shaft for the back wheels
I love it how you drive like a maniac, yet don't do anything stupid to seriously endanger others. E65 seems like it was made for flying over bumpy roads like these.

Liqui-Moly a German company with its highest QC is no joke! Amazing German products that are great for any German car. But surely one thing all products of this kind can't do.... and that's make miracles! When stuff has been damaged too far nothing will work than to fix the problem properly...

I think this kind of product cannot do a miracle, but surely can reduce the oil consumption, not solve completely the problem.

it worked with me you might need thee service done if you have it done you should see if you can get the green valve stem seals, i think those are updated also
What did you do in the end? replace the valve steams? did it solve the issue?
Yes replacement of the seals did the job 1000 eur labour

I have a BMW F20 and consumes about 1litre every 15000km. But I don't have blue smoke, I think that the main leaks are in the bottom of the engine, there are two metal seals, probably won't work, but I'll try.

Hi, its a easy fix, I had same problem, you just need to check the valves. A mechanic with a compression kit can do it quicker, I fixed it with £340 in London.

I tried stop smoke by Bardahl on my beamer,it worked . Advantage of bardahl is,that one bottle is enough for v8,instead of LM 2 bottles.

La mia z4e85 2.0i n46b20 aveva problema di fumo molto probabile le guarnizioni delle valvole.poi ho scoperto bardhal B2 e ha smesso di fare fumo.la macchina va bene ora ha 302000 km e la prendo tutti i giorni.bardhal very nice.l'unico marchio che fa additivi di valore.

Probier mal zwei Entlüftungsventil wechseln, eine sitz 1-4 Zylinder und andere sitz 5-8 , 30 min Arbeit . Wegen ABS und andere Fehler leuchtet schau mal bei Batterie minus Kabel Wo mit Karosserie befestigt. Kann sein diese Kabel wackelt oder muss sauber machen aber erst Ersatzrad raus.

is not how many km u do with additive. is how long those rubber seals etc sits in additive. u will need about 2-3 weeks to get some results.
That's the same thing. Oil goes down below any seals when the engine is turned off.
@Stanjara not the same takes time for things to absorb but in assuming his is too far gone I thought mine was bad lol that's alot worse
All these magic potions that promise you to take care of failing valve stem seals actually work... except you have to use them before anything goes bad to the point it won't help anymore. And that is the biggest problem with those products. Nobody searches for them until they may need them but it is mostly too late at that point.
What is happening is that the valve stem seals start to get hard and additives in regular oil can't prolong the life of them no longer and thus they start to get harder and harder. At some point the material changes too much not even holy water will bring them back to life again :)

You should try FORTE. At the oil change apply directly over valve springs.

Проблема си остава с тази добавка просто си иска отваряне двигателя има AGA tools но са скъпи и става и без да се отваря но този проблем се решава с термостат за понижаване на работната температура.
Така е да или програмиране да отваря по рано текущия :)
Как с термостат нали на 105° отваря как по-рано може да отвори ?😳

Вчера смених маслото от 5/40 бардал на 10/60 бардал (колата събира 8 литра, но аз сипах 7,4 от маслото и 2 кенчета от това 0,6 стана общо 8, и след 100км спря да пуши
N62b48, днес ще сменя вакумен маркуч с ъпдейтната версия с няква кутиика към него като пцв мембрана изглежда, и ще оправи вакум лиика и още намаля изгорялото масло

It is much more white than blue. Smell well it is noticable but i cannot say exactly sweet
@@themorronshacks If it is white smoke it must be coolant leaking into the intake or combustion chamber.
Check if your engine has some coolant lines through the intake, some cars has some device in the intake that is cooled, maybe there is leak there.
To me, the strange thing is that if your valve gaskets were bad your car would produce blue smoke. That smoke would smell like burnt oil.
I watched the end of the video and on camera it appears to be white smoke.
I have a 520i e34, it had a head gasket problem , and only produced white smoke at all the revolution range.
Other thing,in cold weather, if the exhaust line is not hot, as soon as you idle, it starts to condensate water in the silencers, so if you rev it after idling the water produces some white smoke.

White smoke is water/coolant indicating a blown head gasket! Also white smoke is condensation which can blow out on cold starts when weather is cold. Burning oil in due to worn valve stem seals or worn piston rings is a light blue color not white. From what I saw your smoke is white not blueish in color. One more thing if the smoke is black that means your engine is running rich - unburned fuel color is black. White = water/coolant/condensation Blue = oil Black = fuel.
lol, another armchair general. It's such a classic valve stem fail symptom. Burning oil does not necessary to be blue, it sometime is just gray and looks like white smoke but they are still burning oil (just small amount), I've done this on couple of my old mb and I certainly know what I'm talking about.
Looks like white smoke, I'm not a mechanic but should be a water or coolant leak, and the additive required is one for the cooling system, not for the engine. I saw videos trying the K-seal additive putting it directly into the radiator with good results, also with the bars leaks/rislone brand. Kseal is cheap, i never tried that one but if you're having that white smoke problem can be a good and cheap option. Cheers!
blue smoke can show up as white smoke on camera lol. it also just hard to tell in general
White smoke isnt oil but water. Your cylinder head gasket is probably gone.
Damn man I got my car with the same abs/esp problem when i bought it, what a pain in the a s s to repair it and cost me like 800 euros lol, lucky i got the year warranty...
