Nice explanation on all your videos. But 2x2 or 4x4 means number of antennas but not the ports, can you confirm please. Even in MassiveMIMO 256 does mean the number of Antenna elements are that many are indeed physically available , also used for Beamforming.

4x4 MIMO means 4 Antenna ports at base station. Antenna Ports are mapped to physical antenna. It depends on vendor how they configure this mapping.
