- The defending Grey Cup champion Montreal Alouettes followed the blueprint that helped lead them to a championship last season enroute to a 23-20 victory at Commonwealth Stadium on Friday night. The Als forced 22 interceptions in last season’s championship campaign and were able to collect two more to stymy the Elks offence on the evening. Despite going toe-to-toe with the champs, there was certainly some frustration from the Green and gold about another game let slip.

You have arguably the best athlete in the CFL on the bench Tre. The only quarterback that has won a game for Edmonton since 2019. Jones is a good old boy he will always choose a mediocre American and a build safe a pocket offence over an scramble offence supporting a talented Canuck. Rebuild before the league has 8 teams. Signed a Lions fan.

This 2024 season was the perfect season to start Tre. It would have been good for him, the team, the fans, and the organization. 0-2 lol
The coach is the problem an everyone else can see this as clear as day. Ford is the present an future. Chad kelly starts in Toronto an I can tell you that The Ford is better.

The fact that you don't play Tre Ford as your start says it all. You can see the fans an the team mates want him on the field. The league wants to see him start an he is ready he was never given a chance an the coach is to blame. Of course he is gonna be pissed when he sees other QBs that are worse then him getting chances. You need to build around Ford before he is gone.
MBT is not worse than Tre. The Elks look way better than the last couple seasons. Any QB is gonna struggle with a Swiss cheese line.

Are you kidding me. Jones comes in and wins a grey cup, not because of him but because of the the previous coaching staff. He wins and then goes to Saskatchewan, taking key players with him. He does nothing in Sask. and Elks hire him again. Are you kidding me.

You want to sell out games an be successful start Tre Ford an stop being bull headed Jones. The moral is off ,bec of upper management he has special talent an your not utilizeing it to your advantage. How do you go from winning games from The Ford started to pushing him to being a back-up? An losing? Clearly Chris Jones is getting a kick back for making bad decisions.

His play calling isn't even mid. It is ass. Chris Jones is Vienna sausage juice as a head coach. Fire him. We have a good roster but fr did he call a single play action all game? Why no field goal late to manage the clock? Dude is just the worst head coach in football.
