What if I cut the material folded straight and not off grain, do I still need zip?

Yes you will need a zip and also the cowl effect won’t drape nicely.

Pls when next you want to cut a dress, please let us know if it's safer when we cut on the material correctly am really not happy right nw have been following your process only for me to find out that we can't cut out this cow style directly on the material
