Whats really sad about the hearing voices is after going thru that with my younger brother, they put him in the psych ward for evaluation and wanted to heavily medicate him and release him. No one did any head Xray or CT to see if there was a physical cause.. He later had brain surgery for a tumor found after seizures started. It did help and we got our brother back but he later passed at home probably after a seizure and hit his head.... how many may have a physical cause that isn't checked....
I was in lockdown for several weeks with a highly medicated inmate who was seeing demons playing tag with intestines. On so much lithium they couldn’t read. Had to make room for someone else in the rubber room. I think they just use it to get them medicated enough to take their meds when told. Because as soon as they asked if they could take a little less that’s what they were told.
Known to cops as "ol crazy boy" and his own parents were demanding the hospital hold him and look at him further because there is something wrong with him... that hospital that discharged him needs to be held accountable. This poor woman died so violently.
Mental health issues are not taking seriously at all. Andrea Yates killed her 5 kids after saying she was hearing voices. Her insurance didn't covered her hospital stay for more than a week. It was the hospital and the insurance IMHO who were responsible for 5 children's lives being taken. Andrea Yates was nuts and the hospital knew it, and the health insurance did not care to let her stay for months if necessary. Money, money, money. If the hospital fought for Andrea Yates at the time, refusing to release her, 5 kids would be alive. I have no doubt about that. She needed medication and observations for long term.
Something similar like this happened in my town in Mount carmel illinois. This women who I knew personally took her man to the hospital bc he told her he was suffering from some kind of mental breakdown or something. @TawnyC_ there's very little mental health services. Most deeply afflicted that would have been institutionalised are now simply thrown in prison/jail. Which only amplifies the issue
But did he? Without the son's medical records, we only have the father's word. He may have thought he mentioned it, but didn't. He may have told a nurse, not a doctor. Then, that nurse went into the next room, and had to help hold down a violent patient, and forgot to pass on that information to the doctor. The father may not have been allowed in his adult son's room, or not even gone to the hospital with him, and now he knows his son is in trouble, and he is saying that to alleviate his responsibility. One thing I have learned in my 28 yrs as an RN: people lie. Another thing I have noticed, is everyone is willing to put all of the blame on the hospital who may or may not have been aware of him hearing voices, but none on his parents who would have been 100% aware of it, but did nothing to protect their daughter in law by asking her to stay with them in their home. If they were so convinced that their son were a threat, why let her stay alone with him? Why not bring him immediately to another hospital? Why not sit up all night with him until he could be evaluated in the morning by emergency psych services? There were many things the parents could have also done to prevent this. Unless, of course, you are willing to admit that no one could have foreseen this. That would then let the hospital off the hook for any responsibility, too. Just some things to think about while quarterbacking from the armchair.

Naw, I don't think the dad was such a bad guy. Just looked to me like he was concerned about harm coming to his dogs and had seen enough destruction already. The officer just misunderstood which house they needed to go into which made him defensive. Simple misunderstanding😑

Exactly what the sheriff was saying at a recent press conference after one his deputies was killed by a mentally unstable individual driving around with a ton of weapons. That person's family also knew the guy was sick and no one was doing anything to help. The heartbroken sheriff (bless him) said pretty much how we all feel - family members, people in the know, should be taking steps to make sure they're getting treated. Because often paranoia or embarrassment leads people to not want to involve family in mental health matters. You heard the dad - he begged the hospital to keep him, they failed him letting him home
There's a dozen possibilities here. Maybe their vehicle broke down. Maybe he wouldn't let them. Maybe they were afraid of being in a locked vehicle with him. Maybe they were sick with the flu. Obviously there was some sort of reason. It's not like the TH-cam viewers are going to know any more than you do.
On what basis?? You can't keep people without any justifications. If the patient doesn't tell the doctors that he wants to harm himself or harm others, there is no basis to keep him. He shouldn't have taken drugs, nobody forced him to take drugs. Actually, the law says to not take drugs!!
@ the insurance regarding mental health needs reform. The psychiatrist just does enough, sends patient home despite family members ( who know patient best) have great concerns regarding safety of patient and others, ( begging the doctors to keep their loved one). In this case the father begged for the psych hospital to keep his son. Within days his son murdered the wife. It’s a broken system.
@@victordelorientis8763 It doesn't matter if he "wants" to harm himself or others. It matters if he's a danger to himself or others. And the way he has acting and him hearing voices, that's definitely a danger. Involuntary hospitalization is common in cases like that, doctor just needed to fill out a clinical certificate and mental health petition.
I would be stunned if this young man saw a psychiatrist while in the hospital. They likely treated him for a drug overdose or drug reaction. Many small hospitals have no psychiatrist on staff.
Definitely!!! Very unprofessional! Whether it is a new/undiagnosed mental illness, drugs or a psychotic break, the guy needed psychiatric inpatient care with a firm diagnosis and medications! if parent knew he is unstable why they let him get married, they should told this poor girl how unstable he is. Is he evil or sick?
Naw, I don't think the dad was such a bad guy. Just looked to me like he was concerned about harm coming to his dogs and had seen enough destruction already. The officer just misunderstood which house they needed to go into which made him defensive. Simple misunderstanding😑
That is a shed.
Poor girl .. she didn’t deserved to live in an unfinished place like that nor to die in the hands of a sycophant.
NOT a blade of grass, JUST dirt!!
Ummmm she CHOSE to do this and live there. You act like she was some slave or forced. Unbelievable. Give me a break.
@ are you sure she had a choice??!
Get as many brakes you want .
If my comment hurts, I’m sorry for you.
Sycophant: arse kissing person
Should have kept him for further evaluation, 😟 another failure with the system,😤 so extremely disheartening to hear this. 💔 Mental illness is real. His dad/ family, etc, knew something was terribly wrong with the dude.😕
100%
Exactly what the sheriff was saying at a recent press conference after one his deputies was killed by a mentally unstable individual driving around with a ton of weapons. That person's family also knew the guy was sick and no one was doing anything to help. The heartbroken sheriff (bless him) said pretty much how we all feel - family members, people in the know, should be taking steps to make sure they're getting treated. Not unleashing them to the world.
@@mariarohmer2374 Lets just hope that you are never in that situation. If Doctors won't help, it leaves family members on their own trying to find a solution.
@@debbiemaxwell8026 If you want to get into a larger discussion about how this country fails the serious needs of too many citizens it's going to take more room than a comments section.
Absolutely!
"she is my daughter-in-law"...and the dispatch goes on "Female?"....🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Sue the doctor saying he was fine. Father begged him to keep him..
Why did he call 911 for an ambulance but his family was with him? None of them could take him to the ER?
Maybe scared of him..
Everyone looks tough to deal with there.
Ummm… he seems to be doing it without them knowing
The DA needs to hold accountable the murderer as well as the psychiatrist that discharged him back home!! This doctor failed the family.
Sorry, I posted twice on your comment without realizing it.. My bad, one comment was enough.. I disagree with you but I'm not angry at you.. 🤣
The parents were devastated. She was probably close to her in laws. Time to sue the mental hospital.
I've never seen anybody sit there with paper bags on their hands
It's to preserve evidence on his hands & under his nails.
Paper bags are better than plastics
It preserves any evidence on the hands
Dang this is tragic💔 schizophrenia usually happens in the early to mid twenties
So clearly not ok this guy was all bit begging for help and they failed him miserably and in turn her and their families so tragic and preventable
Great work from the dispatchers. They sounded empathetic
He seems so normal too, that's what's terrifying 😨
He don't look innocent at all
@@JourneyofBella331 i meant normal, thanks for indirectly reminding me
Look at the eyes 👀. He's got the psycho factor
Demonic possession?
@@jenscheibner792uh no. Mental illness plus crack
Example of our country's failed mental health / drug treatment system.
Amen! 💯
Thanks to Ronald Reagan.
Condolences to all those involved.🙏
My heart breaks for her family 😢 💔
This could have been totally avoided if they kept him in the hospital 😢
These interigators obviously don't have much experience.
What did that guy say, ole crazy boy?! Not cool!! 🤨
right. and "ol red head". thousands were murdered as witches during euro dark ages
Definitely!!! Very unprofessional! Whether it is a new/undiagnosed mental illness, drugs or a psychotic break, the guy needed psychiatric inpatient care with a firm diagnosis and medications! He knew his brain wasn’t working right, but did not have the knowledge or words to explain it! He was failed. Society, police, health care workers need to be educated and more calm and professional when dealing with these situations!!! Don’t do drugs!!!! It screws up your brain!!!
So does football.
The whole family is strange.
I’m sure the Dr. simply assumed it was the drugs. What a sad story for everyone involved!
@@maramirkin3325 being up for a week because of drugs will make you hear and see things. Being up for a week without drugs will make you pretty messed up. I can’t even imagine what happens with though I have had a few people explain their experiences to me. All I could ask was why would you willingly do that to yourself? It never sounded fun in the least.
You can’t make assumptions in the mental health field though.
We use to have mental institutions they could go to that would have been more equip and knowledgeable to deal with this crisis were in. This is absolutely tragic that poor girl.
Cabin In The Woods...aah, another reminder that monsters walk among us and are not some horror fictional characters.
No insanity defense for this with all of those illegal drugs in his system.
The doctor should be locked up with the murderer as he's as guilty in my opinion
You don't know what happened at the hospital. Also there are laws regarding holding people.
@@DAISYROSE22exactly they couldn’t force him to stay, that’s like forcing a junkie to go to rehab even though he or she doesn’t want help and they eventually walk out
Agreed!
They knew their son was all jacked up. They should’ve never let him marry that girl. They should’ve told her how selfish of them.
I really feel for the wife’s parents and family and friends 😢♥️ sending love and prayers ✝️🙏and condolences to them ♥️ on this very difficult time in 2023❤♥️♥️
There was no father and Im guessing she was here illegally. She came to the US to work so she could finance her mother's cancer treatment back in her home country.
If the cancer didnt kill her, her daughter's murder will.
Angie wanted that green card in a bad so she could help her family. How very sad.
Rest in peace dear Angel.
Cold blooded killer. Evil. Pure evil.
Severe Mental illness is pure evil. Someone who calls ambulance/police two days before this horror scene was obviously looking for help.
@ He took drugs. He wasn’t severely mentally ill. He’s just plain evil.
His father seems unstable. The entire family seemed off. Poor Anggy - out of all the dudes in Texas, why did she have to meet THAT freak?
Texas is full of them.
Yes, especially when the dad thought the police would shoot his dogs. Cops dont kill pets in their own home
How does he seem unstable in any way? cause he just didn't just let the cops wreak havoc on his home, something the cops are very commonly known for when it comes to search warrants? Or like he said, killing his dogs cause they feel "threatened". we get it, your clown husband is the Sgt. of your local PD and anything he says, goes, right?
The cops are way past familiar with that family, calling Jared ol’ redhead.
The Dad probably is unstable after seeing what he saw! I’m pretty sure most people would be!
He knew he needed help, so sad!!!....😳🥴🤦🏿♀️😭😭😭
This is the 2nd husband i heard of dismembering his wife
He’s looking at the male like he wants to tell him but not the female police officer….
Okay I thought this was supposed to be a cheerful Christmas season. The title alone is horrifying.
Why would you watch crime channels for a cheerful Christmas?😅 Evil doesn't discriminate
Crime doesn’t stop on holidays sadly
I remember in California they had a proposition to get rid of the psych hospitals, and a couple years later all these mentally ill people flooded the downtown, homeless everywhere, people rant and raving, it was scary
He´s hearing voices ( devil)... another case with voices...
100% The devil goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to destroy.
If he has schizophrenia he would have probably heard voices. He clearly has mental health issues.
Educate yourself, it’s a brain disorder.
Why are all American young adults in need of serious mental help .. something is wrong over there
The land of the sin
335 million people....and meth. What's your excuse?
probably because of the govt funding the crisis, they're trying to give themselves a 40% pay increase!

More concern about his dogs than the young woman who had been decapitated! Jeezes!
It’s called shock. It’s easier to think about the dogs than think about what he as just seen.
What about dogs?
You apparently weren't listening. They thought body was in HIS house & he denied them a search w/o warrant. His right to tell them he had a pack of dogs who might bite the crap outta them. Cop was wrong. The father was gracious afterwards. Just clearlly in shock.
@@clayrains3496 The owner of the property (father of Jared) told Police he didn't want Police in his house because his dogs were inside and the Police would probably shoot them. The dogs sounded a bit vicious and I thought it was mentioned they had 9 dogs?
May she rest in peace 🤍🕊️🙏he had mental issues the doctor that released him from the hospital should have been held accountable.. I’m tired of seeing cases where you 💯 percent know the perpetrator has mental, real mental issues and what do we do , we lock them up in prison without any medical care. ( mental crisis) my son is an RN @ a mental health clinic and I know several people suffer and most patients don’t get help, they end up in prison. Sad this had to happen so sad . Sending prayers to both families 🕊️🤍🙏
This hospital needs to be held accountable! How awful! Mental illness should never be taken lightly! So sad!
This guy must have misheard the marriage officiant. It's "until death to do us part" not "cause her death and take her apart". The name Jared is the first sign of a weirdo by the way.
He’s mentally unwell

The craziest crimes occur in Texas and Floriduh.
Now I should look up “Texas Man“ with a random date lol
Unfortunately it’s a lot of weirdos from Florida and California keep moving here to Texas. They are horrible drivers too.
Utah also
Maybe try educating yourself before making comments. Florida has fewer restrictions on the release of information on crimes. Many states are super strict on what they release. You really think crime is less in California? That’s a hoot
@chrismartin5450 exactly!! I see this silly comment all the time. It's foia. That's all. It skews peoples opinions of the states who have loose foia restrictions like florida, ohio, wisconsin and New Mexico.
Those two detectives SUCK at questioning. Jeez.
