I love hearing all of the news on your blog today. Your new glasses look nice. I don’t think you will get them mixed up with your old ones.😅
I am glad that Brooke’s test at the eye doctor came out okay. But finding the cause of her headaches is important . And it is not an easy thing to diagnose as you probably know.
It was so nice that that organization asked if you could use that scooter thing. I forgot what you called it. That will make it nice for you to go out and do more things. And nice of you to give such a large donation.
I like the idea of doing a week blog as long as it doesn’t get too long. And as long as it doesn’t take you too long to edit . You don’t need to feel pressure to record something every day.
I am glad they got those branches away from the roof. But make sure the tree is still strong that the whole thing doesn’t blow over on to the roof. Trees are great but when they are so close to a house, it is a worry.

Thanks Sally. They checked out the tree and it seems healthy enough so hopefully it will be fine. Brooke is still getting headaches and we're still looking for a cause. I'm trying not to make the week vlog too long but you know how much I haver on haha. Hope you're having a great week x

Well Fiona, plenty going on at your place this week. Your new glasses look great, you will need to order one of those (glasses chains) for around your neck, then you won't have to put them down on the messy resin bench. Glad all went well for Brookes eye tests. You just have to try and get to the bottom of her headaches. You are so lucky to have Jack the Handy Man with you, he is doing a great job with the painting. I guess now that you have "Piglet" there will be no stopping you, You will be the one doing "Zoomies" with the dogs. haha Hope you all have a wonderful week, stay safe. ❤❤❤♿
Haha the piglet would need to be jet propelled to keep up with Clyde's zoomies 🤣. Jack is doing a great job with the painting, you're right about him being so handy. He can turn his hand to anything. It's my resin covered gloves that get my glasses mucky haha. I'm going to save my old ones for when I play with resin because the prescription is very similar. Hopefully we will figure out what's causing brookes headaches. Thanks Yvonne, and give millie a cuddle from me x
Aw congratulations Fiona on your new wheels, can’t wait to see them , i knew you’d be jealous of jack’s new wheels so had to get your own lol 😜 just be careful once you both put your wheels away when the garage is finished as you don’t want lots of wee “ HIGLETS” running about🫣, remember take care of your new glasses, love the paint in the hall, we buy our paint from B&M, but get the JOHNSTONE make as hubby finds it good to work with , really thick and covers a lot off wall , and a good price, thanks again for the vlog, keep up the good work 👍🏻from HEATHER
Haha Heather, I love that. Higlets! We could make a fortune lol. I'll try to get footage of the piglet soon. We've had the Johnstone paint before and it is good, they just didn't have any colours that we fancied x
Love the new glasses, I know when I got mine back in March it was the difference between night and day (despite the cataracts! )

I know what your mom is going through on low stamina doing things, I have the same problem, except mine is due to low blood oxygen, and it causes the muscles to lose strength quickly, and then I feel exhausted and have to nap a lot.

This getting older sucks doesn't it lol? Mums problem is that she still feels like a 40 year old but her body is 73 haha. New glasses can make a huge difference, especially when the old ones are as filthy as mine were 🙊. Abby had a lovely birthday thanks, and we're still trying to find the cause of Brooke's headaches. Do hope you get Brooke’s headaches sorted out soon for her. Like the sound of Piglet 😂 funny that name came to me before you said it. I was at the hospital this morning to the vascular clinic. It’s been decided now to operate as every time I get an episode the pain is getting worse. He said I won’t have long to wait till I get done. It’s the recovery time that seems to be the worse. Going to be off my feet for quite a bit. 🤦🏼♀️ well I’m off to Salou early Wednesday morning flight is at 6.45 am so I’m staying at vivs tmrw night and Katrina will get Hollie tmrw night too. Looking forward to it especially with Orla going too although she will keep us going 😂xx
Great minds think alike lol. Well you'll be in Salou as I'm typing this and I'm so jealous! I hope you all have a brilliant time. I'm glad you're getting the surgery and I hope it helps. It'll be hard for you to be off your feet though haha x

Hope Brooke isn't going to be bothered with headaches the same as you it could maybe be stress as it's an important year for her at school with exams etc or it could be something she eats that causes it but then Brooke doesn't eat much she basically sticks to certain foods all the time it's good that you have a mobility scooter I wish mum would get something like that she gets taxis but can't walk far so she doesn't get out as much as I would like her too I have said to her in the past I could get you a wheelchair ,a walker with a seat or a mobility scooter but mum isn't interested she says she doesn't want them and i can't force her it would mean she could go out places around where we live up to the wheel etc or go round more shops instead of just the howgate centre she likes that because there is plenty seats to sit down and rest when my mum had her mum she had a wheelchair and mum wheeled her about so i thought she might have liked to do something the same could you not wear goggles over your glasses when using resin to help stop them getting covered in resin
We're looking at everything possible to find a link to the headaches but so far they don't seem food related. I hope it's not stress or they'll only get worse as she gets older! It's a shame your mum won't get a walking aid or chair. Maybe she's happy just pottering about the house, but it would be nice for you to be able to go out more x
Could be Brooke headaches her related to her periods
No we looked at that but there's no link x
