thanks for the tip regarding the bucket of water to collect paint particles/dust, been wondering if that were possible as my painting station is quite a ways to any door/window
You are welcome! Make sure the exhaust tube is just above the water. You need the air to escape and it won't do that if the air is under the water. Cheers!
Great review and setup, also excellent idea re the bucket of water if you don’t have access to a window or door. I have seen other reviews where people in that scenario just have the exhaust vent into the room, doesn’t seem the correct option. I purchased the slightly larger model that has dual fans and the exhaust tube comes off the top at the rear of booth, maybe gives a few extra CM to have the booth backed against a wall for more room? Either way they seem to be the most common units and judging from your clip must be good. Thanks again, Peter H, Sydney.
Thank you Peter. Glad you enjoyed the review. This is our go-to booth as it packs away to a small unit and is quickly erected. The bucket of water makes a huge difference indoors. It can't get rid of all the smell and vapours but does stop the dust haze.
Hi thanks for this review .. can I just double check that it is completely safe to use the bucket method .. does this also apply when using lacquer paints ?
Glad you liked the review. Nothing is completely safe. The bucket method helps to trap the dust that is sucked through the exhaust rather than having the dust blown into a different part of the room. Fumes and residual dust will still be present in the spraying area. Having the exhaust blow outside is the best set up. This can be used with any paints but wearing a proper mask is a must, with filters suitable for lacquer if using those paints. Organic filters are required for 2K paints. Check the safety warnings on the paint before using.
me to I got mine today from amazon with 3 led lights I paid 100 pounds I was wondering would I be able use it at night time without disturbing my neighbours above me
I was just wondering does the exhaust air really smell like paint or is it just a little? Cause I live in a townhouse and wondering If I gotta worry about the exhaust air smell ? Thank so 🤙🏽
Hello Nucollector. The exhaust does smell like the paint you are spraying since the filter only collects the paint particles and not the fumes. The exhaust can be directed out an open window or the gap of a sliding door.
It probably sounds louder on the video than it really is. There is noise but it isn't annoying. Louder than some silent airbrush compressors but quieter than a regular diaphragm compressor. Thanks for watching.
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne Thank you so much for the reply, I am ordering one, thought it would be super loud but again, thanks for the correction, and keep up the great vids, love watching.

I got mine today. It came with a separate switch for the lights(super bright) and for the exhaust fan. Very nice unit.
That's great Larry! This is such a useful piece of kit.
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne i think i will split the switches too
And now i convinced myself to buy this. Thanks for sharing this video😊
Glad we could help! Thank you for watching.
I just got mine. I really like it. Works great.
That is great to hear! Thank you for watching!
Do you hav to unscrew the screws supporting the extractor fan in order to screw on the hose attatchment that sits over the extractor fan itself? 🤔🤷♂️
Not at all. The hose attachment fits to the fan grill with a quick bayonet action.

Thanks for all the infos!
You are most welcome!
Hey there! What are the details on the power supply? I got mine and it didn’t have one included.
There are different versions that are supplied in various parts of the world. Often a Lipo battery is all you need.

No.

Width of which hose? If you are replacing your existing exhaust one then just measure it or the adaptor.
Damn that's bright
Yes😀 really usefull

It isn't particularly loud. Just give it a go and see if you get a knock on the door.
Ha ha ha lol

@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne thanks for responding. I live in a town house so I don’t want my neighbors to have to smell me airbrushing. Thank again 🤙🏽
Could you paint a 1/10 rc car body with it??
It is probably too small, the larger model may be fine
Thanks You help me!
Great to hear! Thank you for the feedback.
Surprised how loud this think is. It's louder than most compressors.
