I just finished doing both front mounts, the rear was done by my mechanic. The front passenger mount isn't too hard, just takes a bit of elbow grease to get out the center through bold. The front hydraulic mount is another story, took me about 2 hours just to get it out (extremely sore hands and cut up arm, LOL). The top bracket bolts that screw into the block are hell to remove. I couldn't use my impact wrench, so I had to use a tiny open end wrench (a ratcheting one would have been nice). Those bots have a lot of threads and I was only able to remove them a quarter turn at a time. Honestly most of my time / pain was from those three little bolts. Removing the 4 nuts / bolts from the bottom of the mount were easy, especially with my impact wrench. The van shifts like a dream now, no more kick !

Thanks! This video saved us-we were 5 hours from our house in a remote area when we discovered we were out of coolant and then I notice the passenger mount bolt is sliding out! A jug of coolant and 1 hour later, this video saved our vacation from disaster. 🙂

Before attempting to loosed any bolts i hit them with liquid wrench and let them sit for a bit. When I replaced the mount I had trouble aligning the main thru-bolt. I'd recommend barely finger tightening all the bolts and doing the thru bolt last. When I did the thru bolt first the other bolts didn't align. Once all the bolts are in place, snug them up, lower the engine, then torque them to spec. I torqued the thru bolt to 40 ft lb and all the other bolts to 33 ft lb. What could have been a 30 minute repair turned into 2 hours because of my alignment issues. Thanks to losgranos for publishing this video!

+ROBOSAM nope - but it did feel like the engine was about to jump out of the van... i assume it could make a clunking noise if the rubber is completely worn out and its hitting the metal part...

With these two motor mounts broken. Did the van while at highway speed veer right when accelerator was lifted and back left when accelerator was pushed down?
I know my top motor mount is broken and the engine moves a lot. Is the lower front most likely broken as well?

Great video man. I just want to add something. If you have a low-profile floor jack, then you can support the engine without putting the car on jack stands or jacking the car up. There's enough room to get your jack (with the block of wood) under.

The recommendaton from the guys at NAPA. You only need to jack up the motor a couple inches. They also recommended disconnecting the negative battery terminal . Great video. Thank you.

The large back one by the firewall- you need to remove the exhaust Y- pipe- this one's a bitch because space is tight- lots of jigsaw puzzle wiggling and rotating. The front large one I removed disassembling it and pulling through around the top radiator hose - some small hoses need to be removed as well (taking it out the bottom may have been easier). The Right top side one is easy. Then there's little ones as well underneath. Took me 4hrs for the first 3 mentioned here but really depends how you take off the exhaust - it could be rusted- requiring a cutter or torch cutter (add one hour for tough removal).

When you removed the side mount, remove the middle one too, this way you can jack up engine high enough to get middle mount out of the way, put in new one then go back to side mount. Just lift the engine to get to that bracket. much quicker.
