I am going to purchase this week and start I will will have several positions to start with I typically just do one week out build my shares I call it the Wealth Wheel
Of course you are entitled to the downloads and the updates. To acquire the purchased files in the future : 1. Best way to download the files and also access and download future updates (I will have an update soon) is by creating an account on the TOCF shop. On this page it is explained how to do this : www.tradingoptionscashflow.com/benefits-of-creating-a-tocf-shop-account/ 2. It is important to know that in Woocommerce when you have made a purchase as a “Guest” and then creatied an account afterwards, that your orders don’t show up immediately (it can take a couple of minutes to update - so refresh the page after a while). In the case that your orders don’t show up after refreshing and it stays like this, or if it should not work at all, send me a mail or Dm, and I will take a look at the synchronisation of the shop right away. 3. When the shop is synchronised, you should be able to access your downloads after logging in.
Hello Kurt, I am impressed by the clarity and simplicity of the sheet, but I have a question about further automation: how can I ensure that during assignment the shares with the purchase price (strike) and number (put number * 100) automatically end up in the designated line ? That should be able to happen at the moment when I switch from Open to Assigned?
Hello, thank you for your interest in the spreadsheet. There is no automatic creation of a new row "buying shares" or selling shares when a put or a call is being assigned. I have created a video (for the all in spreadsheet) about processing an assignment of shares in the spreadsheet. This will explain how the spreadsheet is intended to deal with assignment. : th-cam.com/video/7fBPjmgloz4/w-d-xo.html The wheel strategy spreadsheet is receiving an update in that same sense and the updated version will be of course free for thos purchasing an earlier version. If you have any more specific questions, do send me an email : tradingoptionscashgflow@gmail.com Happy trading
Curt, can you explain how to enter a ‘roll’ into the spreadsheet? Two legs need to be entered a buy and a sell but closing parameter cells do not turn red when roll is selected in the drop down. Thanks
Hello Kevin, Basically I do exactly in the spreadsheet what I do with the trade : rolling is closing a position and opening a new one for a debit or a credit, where the new open position must be the sum of the credits received and debits paid. It is probably easier to show than to type so I advise you to watch this video. It is the same system for both spreadsheets. th-cam.com/video/eVRHCyviLCQ/w-d-xo.html Also read some of the comments Q/A of previous users about rolling. If it is still not clear, let me know and we will explain it more. Best regards. Kurt
@@tradingoptionsforcashflow Thanks Kurt! The other video explained it beautifully. The key for me was adding the premium from the original position to that from executing the roll! Thanks again.
Hi there. I have just downloaded the spreadsheet and yes its great. However I have a question as to why my account balance doesn't change in the quick stats when I have closed out my trades. Thanks
@@kevinjohnson8510 Hi Kevin, you should check if the status is set to closed. If you can not figure it out, send me an email and share the file and I will take a look. Happy trading! K
How do we use this for multiple stocks? Do we create a new sheet for each? That is what I have been doing but how do you get it to calculate the Unallocated Cash and Cash Balance across multiple sheets?
Hi, this spreadsheet is indeed intended to copy a sheet for each stock I am wheeling. I allocate a portion of the cash in the account to each wheel. May I suggest to join our discord to chat there and exchange questions on specific things about it. Thanks
Title states "Excel & Google Sheets", but I only see a Google Sheets file. Is there a true/pure Excel version? I know from experience that Google Sheets has multiple financial functions that are not available in Excel. I've been able to mimic/replicate some of those (haven't tied to do all of them... not my thing), while others still elude me. for reasons way beyond the scope of this, I need to have a pure Excel solution that does not rely in any way on Google Sheets. So the simple question is " Is there a true/pure Excel version of this spreadsheet?"
The date format in Google sheets is a personal setting that you can change yourself. Take a look at this info page : www.tradingoptionscashflow.com/faq-options-trading-journal-spreadsheet/#dateformat Let me know if this helps.
Solved the problem. When I copy the spreadsheet I have problems with the ticker for some reason. I duplicated the spreadsheet and the problem went away.

I believe I messed up to ticker symbol part of the spreadsheet. Is it possible to download another copy?

I did not make an account so my purchase is not showing after I registered for an account.
@@melerickson2139 it will show after it synchronises… I will check when I am home.
