Well when your incarcerated you turn in your belongings. So chances are he had his detective clothes when he came in and they kept that, his gun, whatever somewhere in the jail. During the madness of the red fog he could of picked up all his stuff and a jacket somehow, It was like fall when he was arrested but whatever, and that's how he kept his detective clothes.
And his gun? Also what kind of country do you live in, there's no way Tokyo prisons have TVs, at least not for murderers. Unless Adachi got a shitty sentence or some Devil Summoners/Persona users found him, there's no way Adachi is watching TV in prison.
He didn't escape on his own. The screenshots from Famitsu and translations implies that someone else frees him, by controlling some fat bloke. This is most likely the Malevolent Entity that also took control of those hijackers

People who don't think that are saying bullshit about Adachi using his "Persona" again. Just because his shadow was defeated in P4 doesn't mean that it can't back again. With the mist or the dark hour, the shadows doesn't die. Just think of it. If your shadow or "persona like" power only can be turned out in a persona if you have faced your true self and accept. Adachi didn't do it. The shadow only was defeated, he doesn't reconigze this dark side as part of himself to turn out his power into a Persona. So it can back again, remember when you have to save Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, Kanji etc? After beating their shadows they comeback alive normally, and if they denied again it will come back later stronger. That's what I think the explanation of why Adachi is back with his baddass Magatsu Izanagi. Just think of it!
Well my pre order for ultimax says 2014 and yea it does kinda sick we have to wait but I'm okay with it because they work hard on the translations of the games with original US VA and all that but it's funny seeing a Persona Q trailer in NA likes its a new thing while Japan has it already (I own a Japanese copy, talk about a tease.)
In hindsight it may have been a good idea to tell the prison officers holding Adachi to make sure NOT to let him within 20 feet of a television.. Because escaping jail would be just that easy.
Will be curious about Adachi's motives in showing up to this situation and what he plans to do after. Did pretty well accept that he'd take responsibility for his actions. If he didn't actually make an effort it would have been pretty hard to actually convict him. Maybe just fooling around and plans on heading back to jail after.

the funny thing is that he never actually said "bitches and whores" even once. But the quote fits him perfectly like a lego block to another, so, yeah....
The line itself originates in a doujin's English translation. It just fits his personality so perfectly (And is pretty iconic within the fanbase) that I wouldn't be surprised if the localization team for Suplex throws it in like the Golden team did for Fsteak

I think they already said only P5 will be out in 2015 I think this comes out closer to December but there's no official date yet.
