It's crazy. My mom has been gone 3 years and for as long as I could remember she always said she did not like TD. Jake's. Over the last year or two I finally understand why after just listening to his sermons...he does not teach the truth Gospel etc.

One thing positive about Jakes that I like is that he teaches that GOD gave us the power to create our own destiny and that is something Jennings does not teach. It is the biggest reason why our people have a difficult time moving forward because we look up or outside ourselves for help when the answer comes from within.

I don’t agree with either one. But I did hear Gino once say Jesus wasn’t eternal and he couldn’t even create himself. First of all, regardless if they are on one accord or not, both TD Jakes and Gino Jennings are great pastors and inspirations to Black People and Christians as a whole. Anything outside of that, only God can hold a man accountable for his actions. What The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is expressing is a love for the brotherhood and admiration towards Jakes who has without a doubt been a voice and inspiration for millions. If there's anything he disagrees with, The Minister refuses to out TD Jakes in the face of The Enemy nor will he attempt criticize him publicly knowing that it could potentially drive a rift in the Black community namely the church. The Minister would rather critique TD Jakes privately.

Great does not always mean good. Being great at something means you are prolific, productive, and successful at it. There are 'great' gangsters, theives, and drug dealers but they are also bad people. We have to understand word usage ans context before forming judgements.
Farrakhan neither endorses nor praises TD Jakes. Farrakhan is honest in his assessing of Jakes talents and skills as a minister of the Gospel. He simply recognizes that Jakes is one of the most successful preachers in our generation but that does not mean that Farrakhan approves of him. He said Trump was transparent but he also said he was a lier. If they play the rest of that clip you will see why Farrakhan said what he said. It wasn't praise at all.
Farrakahn refers to many people as great. He said Hitler was great. He said Obama was great. He said America is great, etc., he uses the term "great", not as a praise but as an identifier of ones status in society regardless of whether or not they are doing good or evil. Get the facts straight.
