I am glad you enjoyed it, I love the Peloponnese down there too, so beautiful, I feel a responsibility to get it right and represent it properly, so many people have memories and associations there.
Magnificent views! And again a piece of live history combined with nowadays. I immensely like the modern buildings built over the ancient walls. I noticed one in your video. Thank you for the story!
Great video Andrew! I'm a Greek living in the UK and thanks for bringing Koroni on my radar which I have yet to visit...Also thanks for all the historical information you provided. It does look like a very intresting place with both beautiful architecture and natural beauty too. It's also good to see that Koroni does not suffer from the typical graffiti issues as much as other cities do and which in my opinion is one of the things that usually brings Greek cities and towns down...
Thank you, I am very glad you enjoyed. It is a lovely little place. I do have other videos coming because I continued round the coast, though once you are north of Pylos / Costa Navarino the resorts are not as developed, though the beaches remain fantastic. I agree re. Graffiti, Patras in particular suffers from that, but I am told the council is cleaning it up so may revisit when I ca.
Incredibly picturesque and interesting as always, made more so by the personal connection with the town. Lucky person to have been able to enjoy such a lovely place in their youth. And what a wonderful site for a club, despite the danger of falling off the dance floor! Must have been quite a night of revelry :-)
Great videos: well organized, to the point, shows enough to give a good idea of the look and vibe of a place with plenty of practical information. Excellent job!
It is great isn't it, one of my favourite places, though the coast along there is fantastic, obviously my wife loves it too. Great drive as well. I hope you enjoy!
Enjoying your videos of the peloponnese! We're British and considering moving to Greece but we're planning to home school our little girl. Do you know if it's possible for a British citizen to home educate there? Thank you 😊
I actually know people who do this. I think it is possible, but is very challenging for the children involved as they become isolated from Greek children of a similar age due to limited language and social exposure. as kids get older this is a problem. It is possible though, yes, but do think about the likely impact on the kids, and their social circle and social skills.
@@GreeceExplored Thank you so much for your response, it's a very good point and something to definitely consider. How do the people you know do it? Do they have to spend some time living elsewhere? I know it's not allowed if you're Greek.
@@0jellybeanie0 I don't know to be honest. Many children in Greece never go to school, especially amongst the Roma population. They are basically digital nomads with a couple of kids, who spend most of the year in Greece.
I came to see the famous koroneiki olive trees which originate here, but they are not mentionned
Sorry, I missed that one :( hope you enjoyed the rest of the vid!
So beautiful and tranquil. Bless you bro ❤🍀
I can see myself with a glass of vino rosso🍷🍾 by the sea
Glad you enjoyed, summer is coming, slowly
I love Koroni- we were just there Sept 2023 🇬🇷❤
It is fantastic down there, I love the coast along there too. Glad you had fun too.

Thank you, one of my fav places too.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed! it is a good place, but the whole of that area from Kalamata up to Costa Navarino is well worth visiting.

What a gorgeous view. You’re a wealth of knowledge!
Thank you - thought I have no real knowledge, I read before I do the vids, and have friends who know things!
@@GreeceExplored well you sound like a professional with your narration 👍
@@Travellivelearn Very kind of you.

We did the same! Karamata airport is too expensive to fly in!!
Please visit our friends restaurant Foulis Feast Tavern- tell them Nina and Andre referred you!!! Awesome restaurant and people!!!
Next time I am down there I will!!@@andreward8268
Looks amazing!
It is a good place to visit if you are travelling the Peloponnese, the coast round there is amazing with some great stops, such as Pylos and Methoni.
My family moved from there between 1400-1500 under the turkish pressure ,moving in Italy where we still live.
Well, it is a beautiful area at least!

:)
maybe a nice coast but no beach really.
Zags beach is lovely and about 2km long, just didn’t show well on the vid
Do you really love hills? Panting and puffing 😂
I am a lot fitter now...
@@GreeceExplored no matter how fit you are those steps in Koroni are a killer.
