Love how she explained everything into detail, I went to a medical spa in Glendale to get one done lady rushed through it and gave me no guidance for after care ! Good to know 💛
I know of someone (advanced esthetician) who purchased her own Hydrafacial machine, has a suite, and just doing those facials alone payed it off within a few months and is making thousands of dollars a month. I hope I can eventually get to that level! Thanks for this awesome video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Been using the hydrafacial for a couple years but recently had a training refresh. The movements you used in the first pass weren’t what they taught us. Does it make a difference to the service? Noticed that you hand extracted after adding the peel & Beta. Would that sting a bit? Did you edit out the part where you remove the peel? Just asking these questions so I’ll know for my services. HF claims that you don’t need to manually extract after the Beta step but.....Also, have you really had clients ask for the platinum service? I haven’t. And since that service is typically $250, how much do you charge for the jelly mask add-on, dermaplaning & 2 boosters? I’m always trying to figure out the best way to drape a face with eyelash extensions. I noticed you put the hot towel right over her eyes. Is that ok? Because I’ve always been told to avoid the eyes & it makes it sooooo difficult. I’ve never really found a great solution. Thanks for showing this luxury facial
Great video and techniques, ladies. For those wondering, the video has been speeded up in places. Dermaplaning is probably done first because Kristen's skin is more resilient and makes for easier penetration of the products that follow. Every client is different and Ivy is obviously very good at what she does.
Thank you so much for showing this process! I've always wondered what the hydrafacials look like as well as the dermal plane. Didnt realize you could combine the two in the same session. I see now why they are both popular Tx though. Absolutely incredible
Hi Kristen, this came at PERFECT timing. I started working at a medi spa a couple of months ago and have my first hydra facial tomorrow and this has really boosted my confidence. Thank you 💛
Oh girl you can do it I know you can I know I don’t know you but I know you can’t it is great having these videos to really help you out things that you are not too sure about I have to tell you that the Internet is really good for stuff like this good luck let us know how it went
Hi wow it looked very relaxing, your face looks so relaxed and glowing so healthy fresh stunning! The Esthetician did a great relaxing cleanse for your face!
I was in a car accident a few weeks ago. The airbag hit the area between my eyebrows and above my nose. I had to get 11 stitches... It is healing well but I do not want it to be visible in the future. I'm going to get the hydra facial first, then later on I plan on getting laser and microneedling treatments. If anyone has any other recommendations on facials or treatments, please let me know!
Can you share how she's able to use the term 'medical esthetician' or 'clinical esthetician' since that's not a legal licensing type here in CA? Is she a nurse or is there a way to work in a Dr's office and have greater leeway? It looked like the state board was super against it when I researched it but it's so hard to get firm answers.
Im trying to move back to Orange County which is where I am from. I am licensed currently in Texas, Colorado and I am a Master Aesthetican in Washington State. Can any Licensed Esthetician do the services she is performing on you.... or do you literally have to be a medical aesthetician? ... being that Im a Master Aesthetician which in WA is also considered a Medical Aesthetician its so confusing as to how it transfers over! I am dying to move back home to OC but if a licensed esty cant even do a hydrofacial, I am so confused as to what the point of being as esty is! :( which is why I keep reaching out to you for advice! lol. Are you allowed to at least hydrofacial? And if not for some reason, would a regular Esty be able to work in a medspa under a physician to perform the services? .... i LOVE doing the more higher-end medical type procedures. I love seeing the client results and I just love working with the machines more as opposed to basic facials and such. Unfortunately CA doesn't have a Master Aesthetician unless they are basically a nurse of some sort--which I do not plan on doing another 2 years to get my Med license lol. IF you could help me in any way shape or form just by answering some of these questions Id greatly appreciate it girlie!! Pls and Thank YOU! For example, if a typical esty cannot do this service that youre getting done, could one still get hired in a medspa and then be able to perform this service? Because I literally do this treatment regularly and I also know everything she explained so I am Very curious to know the cans and cannots of CA state laws (OOOOHH maybe you can do a video on that!! LOL that would be amazing)
Thank you for the awesome content. I was curious about it. I have a questions, are the serums being clean afterwards before the other being applying or are they just being piling up? thank you
She said you can put makeup on after the treatment? The hydrafacial treatment would go to waste your pores are open makeup will clog your pores. Also you can do intense exercise 24 hours after the treatment.
Makeup should never be used. It makes your skin age faster, clogs pores, causes acne, causea wrinkles, makes your skin dull and dry, and it makes you look ugly. People use makeup to cover up their face, it just makes the issues worse. It's like putting a bandaid over a bullet wound, you can't see it but it's still there.
Yes!! That is exactly why she says she feels a bit of stinging & her face after the facial looked kinda displeased. Idk if this Estie reached out to her to promote her work in exchange for a free hydrafacial but man, you’re gonna be in sting city doing both. You are right.
A basic facial is $150 and can run up to $350 with all the added bonuses (the boosters). She definitely got the platinum package, so it’s probably around $350-$400 dollars. It’s also way too much exfoliation in one sitting. I would only recommend this if you have very resilient skin.
@@karenaponte1597 I work at two diff places. One has the real deal, and the other has a knock off, and it’s a med spa. In my opinion, the real Hydrafacial MD is the way to go. It’s easier to use and it suctions better. The knockoff is annoying, and I can’t stand using it.
I didn’t know the girl getting the facial is an estie as well. I am an estie. I would’ve assumed she knew why her skin is stinging. Esp cause she’s an esthie

They are over 10k, it would be a LOT cheaper to get it done at a shop sadly.
This was so well done! What machine are you using for hydro facial?
Hi
Pls I would like to know why you did dermaplaning before hydra facial?
Where do you guys get your skin care products as Aestheticians?
Hi Kristen, what is the name of your machine you use, it does a really good job. Your clients face looks amazing...
Doing hydra facials are my favorite 🤩
Hello luv I have a question where do you purchase it?
@@empressaura7736 oh girl I don’t know, my owner that I work for is the one who’s purchased it. It’s hard to get it though.
@@Amber-zu6bg oh ok hun thanks anyway.
Hi where does one buy the hydro facial machine.
What type of device is used for recording?
If your a licensed esthetician do you HAVE to get extra training for the hydro facial or can you just start offering after practicing the treatment?
get the training!
You will still need to be certified on HF
I don’t think they sell the machine if you don’t do training. In finland they don’t .
So pretty!! 😮😮
Absolutely radiant great job really enjoyed the video thank you for sharing
I love watching this ❤

She works at a medical spa where physicians/dermatologists are and monitor so she’s able to work under the bracket of invasive treatments.
She may have gotten Laser / CME training.

How much is the Hydrafacial machine. I am looking to buy one. Please give me some information.
Why is Dermaplane done at the beginning and not just before doing the Booster or Vial
Hello. Is this service doable for people with braces?

Where did you get the head bands? And are those disposable?

How much do you charge because i had one of these done and she never applied all these steps.

The hydrafacial pushes the serums into the skin so they’re applied one after the other, no need to clean in between
May I ask what the brand name of the Hydrofacial machine please
The brand is hydrafacial.
Hi guys I have an important question on the HydraFacial !!
Do the tips need to be disposed after each client ? I hope I get an answer 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yes! Those are disposed of as they are plastic and can’t be sterilized

Where can I get these headbands from?
Amazon. Just search for stretching headbands
