There are an incredible number of great restaurants in Vancouver! We have lots more to share in coming videos, but now we have a lot of walking to do, to try and burn off some calories lol. Oh well, it's always more fun gaining the pounds than losing them. Cheers from Cartagena :)
I sure enjoyed watching the video...and give my birthday greetings to you Tom as well. It must be so interesting to try all kinds of different foods - something I enjoy as well.
We love trying all of the different kinds of food as we travel. Mike even ate a scorpion one time in Bangkok, Thailand lol. Thank you so much for watching, and for the birthday wishes :)
There is actually a video that includes Mike's mom back in Toronto. She is super nice - just like Tom and Mike. You might want to have a look. I think it might have been taken up the CN Tower or the aquarium🐟🐠
It's always nice when she can join us as we travel! We just spent a week with her at her home near Toronto, and had a wonderful time. Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it :)
You're right, that's exactly the video she was in...great memory! She's also made "cameo" appearances in some other videos too lol. Thank you for always watching, and for your kind words :)
It was a very tasty salad, but we were expecting something a lot bigger lol. Even though we enjoyed it, we wouldn’t order it again. Thanks for watching :)
Planning a trip to Vancouver next summer, and this will be a great way to plan out our food journey itinerary. Is parking pretty easy in Chinatown and Gastown? We’ll have a rental when we visit.
We hope you have a great time in Vancouver! There is such an amazing selection of excellent restaurants, and food from all over the world. There seemed to be parking garages and on street parking in both areas. Thanks for watching :)
If I may suggest, "The Peaceful" Chinese Restaurant on Broadway. Guy Fireri's silloet is pictured, just above the door, to the left upon entering. How's that for a recommendation?
That sounds like a great recommendation! We love to find new places to eat, so we'll have to put that one on the list. Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it :)
About four years ago while in Vancouver for a V.G.H. related stay. The Peaceful Restraunt was suggested to us by the then "Park Inn," which, is no longer. Their Desk clerk suggested it to us, adding don't let it's appearance mislead you, "Guy Fireri's" image adorns the entrance. Now, every time we need to return, we make it a point to have a really great Chinese dinner!
We do love making food videos, although we always order way too much food lol. The best part is that we have leftovers for the next day! Thanks for watching :)
Awesome! Are you planning to see Philippines too. I know it's not that so elegant but Philippines has the Oldest Chinatown in the world. I think.. ❤️ 😊 BTW any suggestion from you guys , I'm planning to visit Las Vegas strip. Where is the best place and hotel to stay in Vegas? Thanks a lot. Take care my friends. Mwah
We had hoped to travel to Manila this winter, and also Kuala Lumpur, but the cost of the flights there and back to Canada were ridiculously high. Maybe airfare prices will go down in the future, and we can try to plan it again. We haven’t travelled to Las Vegas for many years, so not really sure what would be good there. Hope you have a great time and win lots of money lol. Thanks for watching! Cheers from Cartagena, Colombia:)
Mike loved the chicken wings at Phnom Penh Restaurant, and I think my favourite was the Omurice at Tokyo in April. Also, the Tonno Mantecato at Kissa Tanto was excellent! It's really hard to narrow it down though as we had some amazing meals. Thanks for watching :)
Always nice to see people visiting this part of Vancouver. Chinatown is much different from it's heyday (which I wasn't around for), but it's gratifying to see that people can still enjoy the neighbourhod. Cheers!
When we travel to different cities, Chinatown is usually one of the first neighbourhoods that we check out for tasty food! Vancouver’s Chinatown certainly didn’t disappoint us, and we kept going back again and again lol. Thank you for watching, it really means a lot to us :)
Love this video! You gave good highlights of each of the placea as well as your personal review. I am now subscribed!
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing, and for your very kind words, we really appreciate it :)
Loved this!
Thank you for watching, and for your kind words, we really appreciate it :)

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! We had a wonderful evening at Tokyo in April, and it was a special time. Thank you for watching :)
I didn’t know Vancouver had such an amazing food scene! Looks incredible!

Wow - another birthday - the years are sure flying by! Hope you had a fantastic day Tom. xox
Another birthday is right! I would like to ignore them, but Mike always insists on going out some where lol. Cheers from Cartagena :)

Happy Birthday Tom 🎉
Thank you very much for the birthday wishes, it was a great evening and an excellent meal. Cheers :)
That's the first time that I heard Mom mentioned in your videos. Well, it's good to know at least she's joining in on some of the fun.

Chinatown business owners have been battling against the many addicts nearby in Vancouver roughest and dangerous neighbourhood.
Yes, hopefully something will be done about it! Thanks for watching :)
$39 salad?! Wow! Must of been amazingly tasty.
