But In italy we have this our own historical contest just for us. This is the 72nd edition older than Eurovision. Eurovision contest was born inspired by the Italian one. In the past the winners were not usually to participate to the Eurovision because Sanremo was enough, now they partecipate just for marketing to sell more album.
I have watched the whole of Sanremo so far - I do not speak Italian! The presenter is great and is obviously loved. He seems really warm. I love the way the Italians respect the older singers. Its been great to watch

why should one expect a singer to stay on the same style for years and every time? the real skill lies in also creating different productions.. in recent years Mahmood has ranged in many genres .. and has always done it perfectly..this song is a real gem .. and with Blanco formed an extraordinary ensemble !! 5:57 exactly, I think that you would find interesting the fact that actually all songs that compete in Sanremo are played by the orchestra and artists cannot use any type of prerecorded or electronic sound, since everything has to be played live. (Anyway, if you listen to the studio version of each song you will find the electronic, non-orchestral version, the one that actually gets sold and goes to ESC). That is also WAY different from Eurovision rules, given that in ESC only the lyrics can be sung live, while the musical background has to be prerecorded.

hello I'm Italian and I understand 100% the lyrics of the song.
the song is nice and the two of them are good, but the problem is that an 18 year old boy in my opinion cannot sing about a *homosexual* love.
It's too early at 18 you're a kid yet.
Maybe you don't get the point: is just a live song
He is not singing about a homosexual song.... they are singing about two storys.. a homesexual love and a hetero... and Blanco is singing about the hetero
