My Bosendorfer 9’6” sounds flat like a highschool piano. I had it tuned to 442. The sound board is good. Felts have 50% but with some lines. Anything I can do to brighten the sound?
How old is your piano? At some point pianos need new hammers, and even new strings for optimal tone. Original hammers can be reshaped (filed) and brightened with a type of hardener (voicing).
