EXO Live concert performances are ELITE. Anyone blessed to get a ticket has witnessed a miracle. They have a stamina like no other while vocalizing as they give you their all. They are so talented. having to attend exoplanet 3 (exordium concert) is probably one of the biggest flex ever like that concert literally gave us EVERYTHING from the intro up to the finish a whole masterpiece

The live performances are so amazing! I honestly don’t know if I could make it through one of their concerts! I was lucky enough to see Baekhyun and Kai with SuperM in Seattle in 2020 and that was enough to take me out! Have a great day! 😊😊

Call Me Baby era was iconic, very top of the charts song, it exploded when it came out. And like you said, even by many music producers standards (many American producers), à timeless pop song, which so many also felt was one of the best pop songs ever, in every aspect...that also reflected in it's insane popularity in Asian and worldwide fandoms.
Everyone knows that song to this day, and yet it follows "Growl", as "Growl" is legendary, and pretty much a household name as a song (Growl 2014)
Nothing beats Growl iconically, as a pop song, and as an outstanding choreo, as many international boy groups were shook watching it, and the song and choreo were being covered by many in competitions and by fans alike...college campuses around the world would cover the choreo in flash mob style on their campuses out in the open with crowded students watching as the challenges were recorded for YT. It was an epic era, and it was Exo's debut era as a young group.
But is is apparent why Exo is one of the most celebrated groups to date....it will always be the vocals that pull in people when they first hear Exo, even for newbies today. All the younger groups of today have grown up listening to Exo (on the radio and tv) and viewed them as the standard to follow as they tried their best to imitate them, coming into their own groups eventually. And this acoustic session is just one of the iconic performances that solidifies that fact, as this is a popular video.
Girl, you gonna have to do some full album reviews, to get a taste of their b-sides. Exo's vocals are on a level that no one else can compare to...their vocal expertise and harmonies are stellar...it blows me away how beautiful they sound together, especially the ballads.
I want to suggest my favorite Exo ballad of all time, which is sung by Baekhyun, D.O. and Suho alone....

Yes, the live performance. Just a lovely song within one of their 3-hour long concerts, I think in the TokyoDome also (45 - 55,000 people).
Yes, this song made me cry at first back in the day...yet it is a song I have chosen to be 'my wedding song'. Being sung by these 3 wouldn't hurt either. Please consider watching this performance. It has English captions. It is quite simple , but oh so beautiful....

This video of EXO's acoustic session is a clip from their EXO Planet #3 EXO’rdium concert in Japan -- notice how the titles of most of EXO's concerts always use EXO in the title in some way.
What's notable about their "Lady Luck" performance, where you see Chanyeol put down the guitar and become the first one to get up and sing, was the fact that Chanyeol is one of the main rappers of EXO. So, this just demonstrates how ALL of the EXO members are amazing singers, even the rappers. Chanyeol is so multi-talented, not only is he a main rapper, but as you have heard, he is also an amazing singer and, as you can see, he can play the acoustic guitar. However, as you may know, he can also play the electric guitar, bass, piano and drums, etc.
Yes, this performance is from their Tokyo Dome concert. The Tokyo Dome is one of the largest concert venues in Japan and there is an unwritten rule that in order to be allowed to hold a concert there, you have to be able to fill the place to capacity, so there are probably close to 55,000 fans in that audience.
SM Entertainment artists and groups such as EXO, TVXQ, SHINee, Super Junior, BoA, etc. are so popular in Japan that the concert promoters actually ask SM when they want to hold their next concert there because they know they will have no problem selling out in a matter of seconds -- EXO literally holds the record for the fastest sold-out concert at 0.2 seconds -- and they will most likely have to hold multiple day concerts to accommodate the number of fans who want to attend.
This concert was in 2016, so there were 9 members in EXO at this time.This was the last concert tour where Lay was able to participate because of all the political issues between Korea and China.
As you know, Kai, Lay and Sehun are the main dancers of EXO -- as well as some of the best dancers in the industry -- and they also happen to be the members that often have the fewest lines in a lot of EXO's songs, so in concert you will often see them performing solo dances. If Lay wasn't playing the guitar during this acoustic session, he probably would have been up there dancing with Kai and Sehun. (If you notice, the main dancers are the only ones with black pants on. The other members all have white pants. If you continue to watch this concert you will see in the next set of songs why the main dancers are dressed differently. ;D)
Fun fact: The numbers on the back of all the members' shirts are significant. As you may have noticed, you will often see them wearing those numbers their shirts in MVs or in their "Cream Soda" dance practice, etc. because they are special numbers chosen by each of the members.
For example:
> Suho's number is 1 because as the leader he is No. 1 and he was the first one to be made a member of EXO.
> Kris -- a former member of EXO-M (EXO's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit) that left EXO in 2014 -- his number was 00 because he was the leader of EXO-M (It was said that Suho was the mom of the group and Kris was the dad and when you combine 1 and 00 it becomes 100 or 100% complete as leaders.)
> Xiumin's number is 99, which the reason is a little complicated -- 88 is morse code for XOXO, which is shorthand for hugs and kisses, or it can also mean EXO like their album title XOXO. Plus, during EXO's "Wolf" MV era in 2013, which is when the idea of their numbers was first developed, Xiumin's teaser promoting their "Wolf" comeback was the 11th teaser released, so 88+11= 99.
> Luhan -- a former member of EXO-M, who left the group in 2014 -- chose number 7 because his favorite soccer player's number is 7.
> Lay is 10 because he was born in October and also in Chinese there is a saying that uses the word 10 and it means perfection, so it's a play on words.
> Baekhyun is 4 because 4th grade was when he started to get interested in becoming a singer.
> Chen's number is 21 (Sept. 21) because it's his birth date.
> Chanyeol's number is 61 because his nickname growing up was Park Chanho, who is a famous Korean basketball player, and his jersey number is 61.
> D.O.'s number is 12 because it represents his birth date (Jan. 12) and it also stands for 12 members of EXO.
> Tao -- a former member of EXO-M, who left the group in 2015 -- was 68 because 6+8=14 and the 14th was the date his "Wolf" MV teaser was released.
> Kai's number is 88, and his reason is also a little more complex. As mentioned before, 88 stands for XOXO (hugs and kisses/EXO), which was the name of their "Wolf" album, etc. But Kai chose the number because H is the 8th letter in the English alphabet and HH stands for hip-hop, which he used to represent the fact that he is the main dancer.
> Sehun is 94 because he was born in 1994.

Lay is one of EXO ACE line, he produce, he is one of exo lead vocals, he is one of exo main dancers, he can rap, he can play different instrument. He is an all rounders
SUHO is often underlooked/underrated in the group. Frankly most of EXOL only appreciate him as a leader but never talk about his talents. But SUHO is an all rounder and has stable live vocals. Please check out his musical theater stuff! Thank you❤

Cant blame you, no matter which era you enter Exo fandom and who your bias is you will have soft spot for kai and the maknae line the more you get to know them, btw Kyungsoo, kai, sehun are the maknaes . Ik the struggle of choosing a bias in exo , I have 3 biases 😅and 1 ult wrecker and tbh my first bias was Luhan so if we count him in, i hage 4 biases in exo 😅😅
