Thanks For The Journey - A Badwater 135 Film follows New York Times best-selling author of Finding Gobi, Dion Leonard, as he attempts to run one of the hardest ultramarathons in the world - Badwater 135 through Death Valley all the way to Mt. Whitney. Watch as he prepares with his crew to run in the hottest place on earth. See the famous Gobi and her mom, Lucja Leonard, too, as she takes on being crew captain for her husband's big race. Note - Gobi stayed home for this race in the AC.

That “we are in this together” is a core belief of running ultras…people first. I’ve never felt like ultras have been a competitive thing they almost always feel like a group run. We’re all trying to finish this fast as we can but you help others even when you don’t know them.

I read Finding Gobi many years ago, great story. Awesome to see Dion's journey at Badwater, great job filming in tough conditions! Editing was awesome as well, great flow to the story. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it! I do question your shirt choice, black shirt in that heat? Crazy!
