Yes! This place was great! : ) We couldn't get inside because there was no inside, the roof collapsed a few years ago and the middle is full of twisted steel and wood. We did get some awesome pictures that I'm sure we'll be putting on our Facebook and Instagram accounts at some point today. We hope the city fixes the property up and makes it a museum or something eventually.
Hey guys - been following your channel. Really cool to see some of these spots. You have some clean photos, too - you should post to the AbandonedPorn subreddit
Jason Allard Interesting we'll have to check out that site for sure. Thanks, Jason. We're a fan of your work as well. Love those crystal clear drone shots. Keep up the great work!
I went to camp just a short distance away in the early 60's. The castle was occupied by I believe members of the Parks family who owned a lot of land that became Tarrywile Park. Once, we went under the porch that wrapped around the house. I also believe it was still a home into the late 70's or early 80's. When left to the town it was allowed to just deteriorate. There is always talk of restoring it in some fashion but nothing comes of it.
It's such a nice area, we hope they at least keep the remains of the castle there, but there are various reasons why they probably can't keep it there. Too bad though it's such a magnificent structure. LOTS of graffiti on the porch area.

Wow. Lots of new graffiti. Great to see this standing. The city had some kind of plan to make it into a public garden.
