My sim had a Goofball trait and he was joking the whole time with his little sister. At that time, his wife was about to find out if she was pregnant or not. Then she was officially pregnant so she had to share the big news to him. Because his moodlet was already hysterical then he became even happier and more hysterical when he found out that he was gonna be a father. He eventually died because of that 😩😩
What happened to my sims (even though you're not asking but i would like to share it) is. My sims is already an elder then she has a young adult daughter, when the daughter was about to tell the mother she is pregnant then all of a sudden the notification thingy appeared (telling that the mother is dying). I felt bad about the young adult. :((
My sim died in a similar way. My couple of sims were on a date and a comedian was performing, so the male sim was already hysterical, then I made him propose to her and she said yes and he got even happier and then he died. It was so sad bc I actually worked so hard into making them fall in love and they were soul mates, she cried for days, poor child.

Once I made a young adult sim and I really wanted her to get pregnant without any strings attached and have her as a single mother so I made her flirt with first guy I saw and it just happened to be an elder, they went back to her place and 'tried for baby' and then the poor old man got out of bed and died😂 then I was like YESSSS NO STRINGS!!

One time, I was so caught up in my male sims’s career and aspirations - he ended up dying of starvation and his pregnant wife was devastated when the grim reaper took him away, but then she started going into labour merely minutes later and the grim reaper was freaking out horribly to it. Later; my male sim had come back as a ghost and he raises his son and woos his wife even in death.

I had a house that was a large family (8 sims). They were all happy and loved eachother. Well, lets just say that fire is a bad guy. One sim survived, a teen. He got a girlfreind, married her when they became young adults, and went to elderly. They had three kids, 2 girls, one guy. Well, the boy died off, so the woman was left with 3 kids. One of the girls became a teen. Then adult. She married after her mom died. The other two kids, who were teens, got a girl and boy friend. More kids came along and we had 8 sims again. A fire started again. The only one left was the boy. He then died of starvation.

I just love it when my sims start a fire from making a salad
my Sim's daughter got married to her girlfriend and for some reason died of hysteria during their wedding but was a ghost. so I reloaded the game, got them married again, they went on a date, and the girlfriend died from hysteria again. then my daughter went home and adopted a kid. then she made grilled cheese, which caused a fire. I just sat there and watched because I couldn't believe what the fuck just happened.

I had two very playful sims playing in the pool park I had downloaded the other day and some glitchy crap happened. The first of the two died of hysteria but it then played the animation for drowning after that, then the other sim and a bunch of random people started to just mindlessly swim over his dead body. The worst parts are that 1 I wasn't trying to kill hims and 2 the grim reaper wouldn't show up.

My sim just dead because of laughter. The thing is, at the same day, she asked her best friend to be her boyfriend, proposed to him, got married immediately, then woohooed and then tested pregnant. All happened in a row. And then from nowhere she started to laugh alone then become hysterical, then dead.

lara hjarsø you have to go to options in the main menu, then go to gameplay settings and there are 2 things about aging: auto aging for played sims and auto aging for unplayed sims. set the one for played sims to "no" and uncheck the one for unplayed sims. I explained it the best I can so please don't come saying to me that you don't understand cuz I won't be able to help you.

I know this videos old but I wanna tell my story anyway. I spent a good couple hours making these parents and a teen daughter (made them all look beautiful and everything) and I was a couple days into playing the game (days in sim time) and the mom started a fire while cooking on the stove, I had no idea this was happening cuz I was putting the teen daughter to bed. When I eventually noticed the entire downstairs floor was engulfed in flames and I couldn’t do anything about it bc the game wouldn’t let me, the dad eventually started burning too and I somehow managed to get the daughter out of the fire and left unharmed. It all ended with a parentless teen who had to go to school and get a job and basically support herself, it was kind of sad. The funny thing is the entire time I was just annoyed at the fact that I spent so much time making such a perfect family that I wrote on the moms grave “your the cause of ur own death” I wasn’t even thinking about the fact that I now had to help a teen support herself.
Oh yikes. Every time my sims' rockets crashed, they crawled out alright. I gotta watch out 😁
It's the fire around the crash that kills them. It's rare, but possible.

you actually can't die directly from a rocket crash, but you can die from the fire it starts. a sim that just crashed just becomes dazed.

my sims died in a fire today...only played the game for 2 days...still upset about it...
Its amazing actually how my sim was once electrecuted but didnt die at all, since he was the most powerful grandmaster vampire that Ive ever created in my sims world.
In the sims I had an elderly couple who's names were Eddy and Irene and one female child named Wendle. Eddy passed from old age just minutes after Wendle aged up to a child and I accidentally killed Irene from over-exertion. She was a plant sim and while going outside for some sunlight she jogged around the fence that went around the entire plot and got the dangerously exhausted moodlet. When I clicked on the ground to make her sit I accidentally clicked on her and accidentally hit the go jogging button. She died in the middle of her jog and Wendle was taken away by social services so now I'm gonna have to load up an old save file to get them back
The old age death looks painless so that's probably my favorite
My favorite part of Sims is making big family then killing them one by one in different ways. (Save some for reproduction ofc)
Place all graves in a graveyard near your house and enjoy ghosts in all colors of rainbow!
A good idea is: buy a black book and vrite death note on it (at real life) so before you kill a sim, you write his name on it
