There is "Music" and there is "Pink Floyd". They brings you somewhere out of your body! Pink Floyd made me fly for the last 55 years and I've been bless for that!
@@ikeeight8Would love to see you and your brother react to the original video for, Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leopard. Great song, great energy. They have so many good songs and are still touring.
Just subscribed. I love watching the younger gen discover PF. Possibly the GOAT. Scholars have been studying their music for years. As for the comments on pauses, I know us PF fans can get a little funny about it. I loved your reaction. It was genuine. Keep going! Also, anything from the live Pulse concert (1994) is my personal fav concert, if you want to check them out live. I have the whole concert downloaded and really only listen to it vs recordings. With the exception of songs not played at that concert.
Pink Floyd had a four album run in the 70's that made them dominate (along with Led Zeppelin it should be noted). These four albums were concept albums. They tell a story or share a common theme throughout the album with seamless transitions from song to song. 1973 The Dark Side of the Moon 1975 Wish You Were Here 1977 Animals 1979 The Wall They are all brilliant and most certainly worth listening to from beginning to end while you relax in a darkened room. For TH-cam reaction purposes, try Shine on You Crazy Diamond Parts I-V from the album Wish You Were Here. It is the first of only five songs on the entire album. They are all fire.
Great reaction Mr Ike..love to see newbie’s for Pink Floyd..but..to interrupt anyone’s solo is kind of disrespectful to the artist..and something you have to hear..Pink Floyd live..1994 Pulse Concert..”Comfortably Numb”..”Sorrow “…every track in this concert will blow you away..really 😊..and the light show is amazing
Yeh dude, back in the day we had like a "Yin and Yang" of great music. Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin LZ give you solid Blues Rock about love and vikings PF trip you out on life and deep inner thoughts, how we should be better human beings and the dangers of excess and insanity. Check out Pink Floyd "Echoes (Part 1)" live at Pompeii 1972 or Led Zeppelin "Since I've Been Loving You" live at Madison Square Gardens 1973 both very different but both brilliant.
It would be great if you did the whole album! Although I recommend serching it's context, since it let's you appreciate the music on another level (at least that's what happened to me, before that, I didn't consider the album as great as now). Plus, since music is art and art can and will have a different interpretation depending on the person and/or time, The Wall has a lot of those moments! Anyway, I'm rambling, good reaction bro!
As you are no doubt discovering, this music is reflective. It conveys themes of one's own mortality, the decisions one has made, and how one looks at the time you have left.
100% need headphones for pink floyd dude, also NEVER EVER EVER pause during a solo, especially a Gilmour solo

This song is 45 years old, and it still sounds fresh. Their music exists in its own universe.
Exactly!!

Great! But… no more Pink Floyd till you get HEADPHONES!! You’re missing all the sonic effects, moving from one ear to another. It’s wild! 🔥
Happy you’re enjoying Pink Floyd, you have many more songs to enjoy 😊.
Can't wait!🤟🏾

😮💨 thanks for the info 🤟🏾
@@ikeeight8Well, after that you need to do parts 6-9 to hear the entire song. 😊
It's kinda weird that there are people who don't know their work.

@IkeEight find a copy of The Wall, the 1982 movie- it's a trip.

"Mother" from this classic legendary album next. 👍

First saw em in 73 and 3 times after. Yeah we know. For your own sake don't interrupt the solo.

Ne jamais couper un solo de guitare. Tu coupes avant ou après, mais jamais pendant.😡
