In India generally we keep in touch with parents almost everyday rather than in foreign countries. That person was a Indian actress (and also a miss world) and she lives with her husband's parents which is somehow weird for Americans to live with your parents if you are a adult.
Tell us again how many species of animals have the type of living situation you're speaking of. Only some marine life even come close. Others typically move on to find their own cave, den, or habitat. Diversity in living arrangements is what brings evolution and technological advances. I suppose that's why India lags behind the rest of Asia in intelligence
