Yea but what if Doomsday is the setup, for everything after it, including Secret Wars. Looking back, the whole Infinity Saga set up Infinity War beautifully … but really we had no idea when Thanos would strike, until the very end of Thor Ragnarok 🤷🏻♂️
Why do people think you need to build up to doomsday? They didn’t build up to thanos in literally anyway outside of two post credit scenes over 6 years.
Thanos just shows up in Infinity War already with a stone, about to get another bc he kicked Thor’s ass, destroys Hulk and we’re off with no explanation or set up.
Doomsday doesn’t need to be “set up”.
@@Shortyd17 I fully agree. However, Thanos did have a couple brief scenes in Guardians 1. Plus the Age of Ultron mid-credits scene showed him putting on the Gauntlet, so we knew he was going after the infinity stones.
@ sure. I don’t disagree. I’d be willing to bet we get Doom in fantastic four. The Russos and McFeely did a great job at the beginning of Infinity War of explaining the stones and Thanos for first time watchers I believe they’ll do the same here.
