Captain, the solution to the cedi-dollar problem is simple, government should stop the dollarization of the Ghanaian economy. Simple economic tells us that when any economy places too much demand on another economy's currency, demand for its own currency will fall in exchange value to that external currency. Why should Ghanaians be trading everything in dollar internally when the cedi is our local currency? Why is it illegal for anyone to trade in any other currency in the USA? Let's think about it. That's the secret to Ghana's dollar issue. Make it illegal for the dollar to be used as the purchasing power in Ghana and place value on the cedi. SIMPLE! I wonder why the big guys don't see it.
