I definitely recommend Fortune Auto over KW etc in that $1,500 price range. Gears and Gasoline run that brand in their Grid life cars as well also please be careful speeding in the snow it's like playing Chicken with a semi-truck in seconds you can be out of control
Before upgrading the flex-z, stiffen the chasis to remove the bodyroll with some swaybars, change your alignment, maybe add or remove some camber, you definetly do not need Ohlins, AF, KW, for spirited driving, only for track use. Also improving and adding swaybars will make it waaay better for cheap. Also you can adjust the dampening with the flex-z, make sure you are on a good setting, or just change it depending the use. And if you think you can take more out of the car normally is not the suspension first, is tyres, I will put my money on semislicks and 17' wheels.
As my rotary shop specialist told me once, the biggest chassis improvement on the RX8 is sway bars (whiteline is what I went with)... basically, car turns left, body goes right is the best way of describing it lol (granted, assuming u have good enough tires for the extra grip). I run Stance XR-1 coilovers on my RX8, have had them for a long time, and they are VERY comfortable. Problem is, they're really expensive nowadays, but there's stuff out there that's even MORE expensive. Poly bushes can greatly improve the chassis as well.
I’m curious what your mileage is on full tank, mine is 300km/186 miles when the light comes on usually, And I do like 95% city driving and also I would make sure yours is undercoated so it doesn’t rust from the inside out
Why would you ever buy any RX- car to swap it? Rebuilding a rotary is easy, and even easier to remove it from the trans and pull the engine out. You ruin the 50/50 weight distribution and the whole purpose behind the car. Rotor head for life.

BHRs can be rough, I would definitely switch to rx8 performance in NY (have them myself in NY)
We can go for a drive when I put my motor back in
That was the ones I originally was looking at but I kept seeing bad reviews about the website on reddit so I avoided it 👀
What year is your RX8 and how many miles is on it currently?

Cool car, but I can't help but to look at it and think engine swap. My 98 mitsubishi eclipse has 327,000 miles and still running 🏃♀️

@@CarlosGonzalez-vi9qv OK then. I guess I'll keep the original and just learn something new.
