Hey Joan, have you tried the bookshops at Melen? The street from Marché Melen upwards toward CUSS hospital and even after, has bookshops and there's a Christian bookshop where I had gotten my own bible I have been using for 7 years now. I don't think there aren't enough bookshops, I just think they don't have good visibility. As always, great video! And yes, eru for the win! #No to Fastfood chains in Cameroon😅😅

I pray fast food restaurants never thrive in Cameroon. If people only knew the crazy amount of preventable diseases that comes with overconsumption of these! I’m already alarmed at the rate of sugar and processed food consumption in Cameroon. Things that used to be special treats on Sundays or special occasions are now everyday food. It scares me!
Hello. Generally when I’m in Yde i use portable wifi routers. It’s like a wifi modem that doesn’t need to be plug to electricity. It’s really small And you can carry it anywhere you need to go in your bag. You just put a SIM card in it. CAMTEL, Orange and MTN sell those routers at 30 000 FCFA I think. Then you pay for an internet package and you are good to go. I usually go for the 20 000 FCFA /month with Camtel. It’s giving me 4 GB per day.

That’s disappointing that books/reading is not widely encouraged or made easily accessible in Cameroon. We need to do better.
