Oh wow, very nice project. Awesome work! I was looking for exactly something like this. Pleeeeaase do a version for the Varia VS3. That would be great!
Thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing it. I had other approaches at the beginning but I wanted to make something robust in the end, which is why I took this approach.
How viable would it be to have the device itself and have different adapters for other popular grinders? I'm not an expert at all, but that could save some time, you can worry a bit less about stock and you could also sell them separately. Great invention btw
Thanks! That was the initial idea and it works on a small scale, but in the end each version still has to be specially adapted because the screw between the grinding discs, the hopper shapes and space requirements are too different. The whole thing should always remain stable, which is why , for example, the thickness, etc. cannot simply be changed.
Thank you! Unfortunately I can't answer that. If the inner screw and the funnel hole of the grinder are the same size as one of my versions, it could work. When I release the next update, I will write down the dimensions - so everyone can see if it fits on other grinders. I already have an idea how I can find a universal solution.
Thank you for your interest! Maybe in the future, at the moment other grinders are on the agenda, but the Lagom OO P64 is also there, maybe it's even similar to the mini. By the way, you can find all information about planned versions and development here: dubios42.wordpress.com/grind-finer/

@@dubios42 Oh thank you for the encouragement! Will definitely check out the post! Looking forward to further iterations of your design! Will buy the print file for support!
Unfortunately, the concept is not transferable to the timemore grinders, but I still have an idea that I will try out - but it may be a while before I get around to it
That is an important question. I print the versions I (will)sell exclusively with certified food-safe filament from BASF (Ultrafuse PET-G), with a stainless steel nozzle that I only use for this filament and seal it with food-safe filler from Diamant if desired. In addition, this is a product into which only dry beans (or beans slightly moistened by RDT) can go. The formation of bacteria is similarly unproblematic here as in the coffee grinders themselves. I hope this helps :) Edit: added "(will)"

Whoooop🎉 DF64v user here. Take my money 😃
On it, but I need some time for that :)

I can't say yet, but I definitely don't want to rule it out. I would definitely have access to a VS3.
cant wait for df64 gen2 version. Happy to support the project.
Thank you! Yes, I'm also looking forward to when I can publish them. Hopefully this week.
This is fantastic! Looks much simpler than the one I've been working on, good work!

In the meantime, I have an idea of how to create a universal feeder. When I'm finished with the versions I've started, I'll try my hand at this one.
Great work 👍😁
Thank you!
Nice! Will that fit a Mazzer Super Jolly you think? SJ and DF64 have the same upper burr carriers, or at least very similar, I think.

Is it compatible for the DF54? very good work btw!!
Not yet, but I‘am working on it in fall: dubios42.wordpress.com/grind-finer/
This is awesome mate! Is this going to be available for df83v, heaps of hype regarding this grinder
Thank you, yes, I do plan to do that, but I don't know exactly when it will be ready yet.
Could you please make one fore Lagom mini please? that would be awesome

i really need you to make it to fit EG-1
Maybe in the future, :)
Hi! Is this going to fit DF64V?
Yes, in the future, after I have finished the version for the DF64Gen2, I will adapt this to the DF64V and other models.
Dang I was going to design a 3D printed prototype of a slow feeder for the DF64, but you beat me to it. Cheers!

@@vivianle973 Thank you very much!
So, the next update should be ready in a few days. The first prototypes are already working
Will you have one available for the df64v?
In the future, if I am ready with the final design, it's easier for me to adapt it for the other grinders
@@dubios42 looking forward to buying one. Thanks for your work!
Timemore 078S??? 👀
