I find it always helps to wipe down all surfaces with alcohol before you stick on anything. Just makes sure there's no grease /dust/dirt etc which stops it from sticking
yeah I defo found that helped when I wiped them first. I didn't use alcohol but vinegar as that's my glass cleaner but I think it probs did a similar thing! Thanks for the tip!
Nothing better than to check on your plants, have coffee and watch more plants on TH-cam ❤️ going to pick up some plants from a friend later and hide them from my partner - wish me luck 😃

I love the shelves, and I know the struggle! the height is an issue, even small plants that have trellises don't fit :S but it is a pretty shelf!, thanks for sharing! good luck shuffling! I find that I can spend hours thinking on how to rearrange.. probably a mad thought for non plantie people hahaha
haha I know those thoughts well! and yeah it's a shame about the height, I just need to do some rearranging once Claire gets her cabinet and then I can have more vertical space again :)

I have these shelves and love them! I'm using the barrina t5 leds and their working brilliant and you can daisy chain them, also a lot cheaper to run then florescents. Your plants all looked great grouped together 😊
Oooh those look like brilliant lights! Do you know if you use the warm or cool ones or the 80w vs 160w? Also not terribly priced! Might need to get those once these fluorescents die... one day

I use the same Velcro sticky thing…lol when the light gets accidentally pulled they just pull apart really easy and no damage done. When I used the double sided adhesive one the ceiling would come off with it.
yes! It's perfect for that! Just gotta make sure I don't knock it off into my plants!

Oooh, love the shelves! Recently, I’ve been adding more plants to my home and man has it been addicting! I’m going to end up needing some shelves if I keep this up lol! Here I am, dealing with some pests on some plants I have had and bringing a couple more plants home because they were too pretty to pass up! Ugh! I have a problem! lol.
it really is a bit of an addiction! But overall I'd say a heathy one haha! what pests are you dealing with at the moment?
Get some small command hooks and you can trail the Exotica from the ceiling or higher up. I had used a few of your ideas when I watched you setting up the Ikea cabinet. That's how I found your channel last year. 🌱 Everything looks fantastic.
Yeah I think i might do something like that... I just need to find the right spot for it, as I'm still not sure I like it in my bedroom 🤷♀️

what is that, a ficus? that you show of a first example of a "short plant" that could go on top shelf?
anyway, I did that, I removed a mid shelf and put tall plants there, tho I can't use the top most shelf, even tho there's enough space, cause the acu blows on it

Yeah it would have been nice if moving the middle shelf worked for me but something about it didn't feel right. Like I kept going to put stuff on it and then remembering that there wasn't a shelf there haha
