He wasn't recruited only because of his Tiktok vids. He's a professional dancer in Japan. He studied dancing and had worked with some japanese artists as back up dancer. There's no way SM would scout and debut someone if he's just a normal/basic dancer. y'all know SM's standard, even their trainees are toptier. and the fact that his voice is stable while dancing in MR removed videos. He's charming and cute too. He's just 20, his features will mature more in the future. I always love the way he is dancing, like its so satifying to watch and not awkward at all. Maybe because he was a profesional dancer and already have experience on stage as back dancer too.
I think right now it all comes down to one’s preferences, imo, taeyong and ten are more versatile dancers like they literally hv their own styles and super versatile. Jisung is like the very powerful type which is super captivating and smooth as usual. Shotaro in the other hand, he’s not that powerful but at the same time, he dances very effortlessly coz u can tell that he knows when to use his energy and when he shudnt, that is professional i guess? 😂 I like shotaro coz he’s not exaggerating his moves but at the same time it ain’t slacking but still very captivating. Guess every dancer has their own styles ahah
The rest of NCT are good idol dancers but Shotaro is a real pro. His stage presence is on a different level go and watch some old videos of him being a background dancer. I love him so much💕

This has to be one of the most relaxed debut stages for an idol ever. He looks like he is just really enjoying being part of the performance. When I heard Shotaro's voice for the first time, I had to do a double-take because his deep voice didn't match up with the cute image he normally has! I thought his lines were either Taeyong's or Jaemin's!

@@ainieve no NCT u has know exactly amount of members and can be as many as SM wants. Last time it was 7 members too I think but winwin and mark were in the last NCT U but not this NCT U. This NCT u is Shotaro and Jaemin included instead. And the first NCT u was only 5 people including mark and ten who aren’t in this nct u. NCT u can be any combination of the 23 members

He wasn't recruited only because of his Tiktok vids. He's a professional dancer in Japan. He studied dancing and had worked with some japanese artists as back up dancer. There's no way SM would scout and debut someone if he's just a normal/basic dancer. y'all know SM's standard, even their trainees are toptier. and the fact that his voice is stable while dancing in MR removed videos. He's charming and cute too. He's just 20, his features will mature more in the future. He debuted in such a short period of time training, that only goes to show how talented he is and hopefully SM won't put his talents into waste. He has so much to show! Support all NCT Members!! They deserve all the love in the world.

SM already know they are good so SM instantly give them contract as an idol not as a trainee (it just my predict, so I don't think that SM asked them to be a trainee but instantly prepared for debuted as idol). I know nct has lots of excellent dancers but shotaro could easily be one of the best dancers in the group lol im not even a fan but i gotta say his dancing skill is really something else
I always love the way he is dancing, like its so satifying to watch and not awkward at all. Maybe because he was a profesional dancer and already have experience on stage as back dancer too.

He is easily among top 3 now. I think we should wait a bit more to see his abilities to place him above Ten and Jisung.
I think right now it all comes down to one’s preferences, imo, taeyong and ten are more versatile dancers like they literally hv their own styles and super versatile. Jisung is like the very powerful type which is super captivating and smooth as usual. Shotaro in the other hand, he’s not that powerful but at the same time, he dances very effortlessly coz u can tell that he knows when to use his energy and when he shudnt, that is professional i guess? 😂 I like shotaro coz he’s not exaggerating his moves but at the same time it ain’t slacking but still very captivating. Guess every dancer has their own styles ahah
The rest of NCT are good idol dancers but Shotaro is a real pro. His stage presence is on a different level go and watch some old videos of him being a background dancer. I love him so much💕
