Faith No More- The Real Thing. Nearly every fan recommends Angel Dust, but I think it's more rewarding to listen to The Real Thing first, then move on to Angel Dust to see the evolution of the band's sound
Have you ever heard Code Orange? Your voice low key reminds me of Reba’s voice bc she hits some low notes, they’re also similar to & good friends with Vein, super versatile & creative, I recommend everything they’ve done lol. Lacuna Coil is a great Italian gothic metal band with a unique sound, their classic album Comalies is a must listen imo. Also the rest of Deftones’ albums pls lol
Much like Fleshwater, this album gets better with each listen. I recently bumped my 95 to 100 after 2 years of listening to this album. It's just so good. Great review as always!
One of my favorite artists and my favorite album by them! Really enjoy your analysis and I find my self learning more about the music I love through your channel :)
veins the original project they started around 2013 but they made the fleshwater demos in 2016 but only the instrumentals then anthony and marisa recorded the vocals in 2020 and dropped the demo in 2020 aswell
On their "old data in a new machine" album they do a different interpretation of untitled called 20 seconds 20 hours. You hit the theme of it perfectly, and especially in that version of the song you can feel it. Amazing reactions and analysis as per usual!
One of the best metalcore records of the modern era. Something tells me that bands like Knocked Loose learned a thing or two from these dudes. SPEC test pass with flying colors.
I saw them live in 2018, they had a dj for live noises/bass drops and let me tell you, YOU CAN FEEL THOSE BASS DROPS they were so powerful and well mixed, when the breakdown hit, IT HITS. The whole band live is just great, I think the drummer departed he has a new project from what I heard. So I dont know what will become of Vein.fm, right now it looks like a Hiatus, because they are touring with Fleshwater so I wont complain.
What album should i react to next? I will add some to a poll for the video after the next!
